We had a rest in August 2023 in the Lighthouse building. There is no renovation there yet, but we were accommodated in a 2-room junior suite. The room is spacious, air conditioning, TV. When the repairs are done, it will be super. The sea and the air are gorgeous, but it's very hot this year. The food in the dining room is normal. A separate topic is the transfer. We regretted that we did not go to Gagra by train. A bus picked us up from Adler railway station. Crossing the border is just a horror. We were dropped off with our belongings from the bus, you go through passport control with your suitcases, then you wait for more than an hour for the bus to pass through the border. But these are not questions for the boarding house.... So if possible, it's better to take the train.

We have been to this holiday home three times. Buffet meals - it's time to update the menu, add more vegetables and fruits. There are always a lot of people, I had to look for a table, the best one is at the window with a view of the sea and it's cool. There was no air conditioning. The rooms are renovated, there are rooms without repair. Prices go up every year.
It's good to relax with children.
But if they returned the street cinema, it would be great.
Sun beds on the beach are worth their weight in gold. The beach is pebbly.
But all this fades, remembering that you are in Pitsunda, there is a gorgeous sea around, relict pines ... oh, how I love this place!!! I wish you prosperity!!!!

We had a rest in the defense industry of Pitsunda in 2016. The number of the first category in the "Fleece" building. Cleaned every day.The linen is snow-white. The elevator was always working. The food is simple, but edible. There are a lot of cafes nearby, who will get tired of the dining room, you can safely have dinner in any cafe. We went to drink coffee at Tony's, tables on the street, near the promenade, with a wonderful view of the sea and the beach!

We had a rest in September 2022 in Pitsunda (bldg.Amzara). The view from the window is just a bomb, nature and the sea are the purest. The room was very modest, the renovation was still preserved, apparently from the Stalin era, but we left in the morning and only came to the room in the evening.. Meals are served 3 times a day in the dining room. Everything is great, for such a ridiculous price, the vacation was a success. Dolphins showed us a performance in the sea every day. People are good-natured, polite.

We have been vacationing at this Pitsunda resort almost every year since 2013. Every year, the quality of service and food only got worse.
The last year of rest in 2023 was the last in the Pitsunda association because the quality was reduced from 3 to 1 stars.
Namely, the disadvantages are as follows:
- the quality of food (it's amazing!) Food for tourists is prepared like for cattle!
- hot water in the rooms is supplied with problems (there are failures every day!)
- electricity is supplied to the rooms every day with interruptions!
- the attitude towards tourists from Russia is no longer the same!
Apparently they have forgotten who they owe the status of their independence to!
I do not advise you to plan a vacation in this association of Pitsunda sanatoriums!

The place is gorgeous but the hotel is very tired. It seems that the owners do not have the opportunity to bring him back to normal. If repaired, there will be a bomb. Nearby there is a nature reserve, a fortress, an ancient temple where organ music concerts are held (Luka Gadelia). I love Pitsunda ❤

We were in the middle of September. Pension for pensioners, grandmothers everywhere). The renovation in the building is average and a little tired already. Halls without renovation - a view of the 80s. There are two buildings renovated from 1969 and with amenities on the floor. We were in two canteens. The first one next to the Golden Fleece is something scary and depressing. Koenenchatve tablecloths, brown walls, dark and such a miserable look that even there is no desire. The second dining room next to the Medea is bright and spacious, but only one room is renovated and new furniture, the other two are below the level. About food - these are not Sochi boarding houses, there is very little choice. There are no pastries for breakfast, there is no normal cheese, tea is already ready in the tank and looks like a drink, not tea, there is no coffee machine. I didn't like the food, it's often not tasty, only the chicken stewed and the ventricles liked it. There is no service. Toilets on the street are a horror. The territory often smells of sewage and garbage. A separate topic is sun beds. People believe that if they once occupied a sunbed, then it is now their property, and their towel is on the sunbed day and night, and it does not matter that they are not there all day. Fights over sunbeds are a normal phenomenon on the beach. Now about the pros. This is the sea and pine trees, but this is not the merit of the boarding house.

We are here now. Day 8 of the stay. The nature is amazing, the sea is clean. If you want a quiet sea, the first 4 buildings have waves, you want waves, the buildings of Amzara and the Lighthouse always have waves. The room was equipped with amenities, without repair, of course, it was killed, but the beds are comfortable, there is a wardrobe, a refrigerator, a TV, air conditioning, everything works and it pleases. But there was no cleaning in 8 days! They'll come in , pick up the trash , and that's it. The lights are periodically turned off. There are no complaints about nutrition, the usual dining room, the food is fine, you can't go hungry, but we go to cafes for dinners. And it is very convenient to eat in the dining room with children. All the disadvantages of the service are smoothed out by the beautiful territory, the air is simply amazing! Everywhere there are benches, paths, they used to do everything for the convenience of people. Next time, if we go here, I will try to buy a renovated room, but without amenities, I would not recommend taking it. There are no air conditioners, and the rooms are on the sunny side, poor people are struggling

I am currently resting in this hotel, the Amra building. I booked the tour online. They offered a choice- with or without repair. Well, of course I chose renovated. And, of course, much more expensive. But the renovation and the boarding house itself did not meet my expectations. The room is nice and big, but it's not worth the money I paid. The food is varied, but alas!! You walk around with a plate and don't dare to take something. Drinks-water, boiling water and tea in large tanks. And so you won't find out what kind of tea is there (already ready). There was a storm before our arrival. And the discarded garbage has still not been removed. There are sun beds, but there are few of them. Umbrellas are lying around broken. The beach is so squalid that you think you've fallen into the wild. And they write- a private beach. The other buildings are a little better. Of all the advantages, only the pines.

Well, about the boarding house itself)) we are resting in it now, it is the middle of the vacation, the food is modest, but it suits us quite well. The first 3 nights we lived in the Amra building, 5th floor, the staff is friendly enough, especially in the dining room! But a Ferris wheel is being built nearby and equipment is working, we asked to go to the building, we go there and to the beach, we were relocated without problems!!! But!!!!! Why are the mattresses so dead??? It's just a pain, it's impossible to sleep, all the springs are washed and felt, it feels like they haven't changed for decades, or even more!!!!! We paid 80 thousand rubles for 3 weeks, the price tag is not the cheapest, why can't we change mattresses at least once a season? We have a standard room of the first category, yes, tiny, just to spend the night, but in good condition. Will we come back here? A great vacation in a beautiful corner of paradise. The sea is clean, the pines, the air. We lived in the Golden Fleece building, category 1 room, renovated. The towel was changed, but other residents with other maids complained that they would not be questioned about toilet paper. We shared. I liked the food, dietary, but everything is delicious. Suitable for any category of vacationers. The dining room is always clean, attentive staff quickly changes empty trays and so on. I recommend a vacation, especially for a family and relaxing one.

In Soviet times, there was a fashionable resort for the elite and guests from the socialist countries, now everyone can get in. Amazing nature and fenced area. The sea is better and calmer towards ldzaa, where there is approximately a water park and up to the monument to divers. Three good meals a day. Of the disadvantages, there are still very shabby rooms in the lighthouse building with a shabby communal shower, remembering Khrushchev, of course, I would like it to be updated.

When checking into room 1212, the following disadvantages were revealed:
- the hooks of the hanger were missing, black screws were screwed into the wood;
- a chandelier of three lamps weighs crookedly without one lampshade;
- there is no TV remote control;
- the remote control from the smart set-top box is broken in half, it works unstable;
- the handle of the window frame is broken;
- the shelf in the chiffonier is broken;
- one broken stool;
- the bed linen has not been changed during the specified period;
- toilet roll paper was not issued upon completion;
- toilet soap was not provided upon completion;
- there was no shampoo in the bags;
- there has been no water supply since August 10.
Upon reaching the beach, the following disadvantages were revealed:
- sun beds (deck chairs) are not subject to issuance and collection, i.e. vacationers occupied them in some way, secured them with their towel and leave them until morning, evening, etc., i.e. we could not use the sun beds, we were content with our personal towel;
- the beach is dirty: wooden remains of trees, burnt pieces of wood from bonfires, beer corks, shrubby vegetation is found, vegetation thrown out by the sea that complemented the "aroma", cigarette butts, beer bottles, some kind of chermet;
- stray dogs walking on vacationers' towels;
- broken mushroom canopies;
- the available public toilets on the territory of the boarding house are not all working, i.e. I had to run around, look for;
After visiting the dining room, the following shortcomings were revealed:
- there is no washbasin, and the existing toilet in the lobby of the first floor has become paid, it costs 20 rubles;
- the tables were not wiped thoroughly.
Dear vacationers, I will not tell you anything about emotions, I will only say that I wanted to write my short story after the water supply was turned off.

Pitsunda is one of the most beautiful areas of Abkhazia. The sea here is clean and calm because of the bay in which the main part of the beach is located. The Pitsune pines are very beautiful and tall, where you can hide from the sun on a hot day. Wide beaches have plenty of space. There are different hotels and apartments. For every taste from super economy to luxury. There are a lot of places where you can go from Pitsunda. The food is varied, every step of the way, BUT not tasty. They open late. According to the night "life", She is almost not here! Pitsunda is a more peaceful scenic vacation. The Internet in the rooms is often good, which cannot be said about the cellular, even with a local SIM card! There is a lot of "barmy stuff" of So-called wine and other filth that has nothing to do with normal alcohol. The prices are acceptable. Many hotels offer their guests free access to the central beach, without them the entrance fee is not very expensive, but still. There is one supermarket where you can pay with a card in other places only in cash!

I stayed at this hotel in July, took the 2nd category, it's just terrible, repairs have not been done for 40 years, the hall is in terrible condition, everything is old, shabby.
The staff killed in general, the receptionists are not friendly ladies, rudely answer that you don't ask them , the cleaner said that there were not enough towels for everyone , so they would change the towel in 6 days, we arrived at 12, began to turn to personalities , said that we are Russians , greedy people , we want for a penny, all the conditions (we just asked when the linen and towel would be changed, she had a tantrum)
Food is a separate topic, monotonous, they do not cook tasty, from meat: cutlets of terrible quality (even dogs do not eat them), alternates with ventricles and hearts (sometimes there is a chicken), in 12 days there were: 1 time eggs and 2 times sausages for breakfast, there were no greens, from the word at all.
People are kicked out of the sunbeds at 18:00, we refused to get up (we said we would put them on ourselves, to which the man began to insult us) since his work ends at 18:00.
We came here in a big company, a friend took a more expensive room, renovated, but we ate in the same dining room.
Among the advantages here are the sea and nature, the sea is warm, gorgeous, you don't want to climb out, and there are few people on the beach.
I will not even recommend this hotel to the enemy, the first and last time we rested here

We rested, if I may say so, from August 5th to August 12th, 2923. in a room of the 1st category renovated.
Back in the administrative building where the check-in is distributed, I noticed that vacationers are asked to move them into specific, specific buildings. We were offered the 13th floor in the Golden Fleece. Because we were vacationing for the first time, I agreed, which we later greatly regretted.
We were driven from the administrative building to the Golden Fleece building by a very old gazelle with a non-closing door.
As you know, check-in everywhere from 14 o'clock. And wherever we rest, they settle in quickly, without waiting for 14 hours. For Pitsunda, everything is different (for them, everything is different for the worse). We arrived at 8 a.m., and checked in at 13-30!!! And that was after I went up to the room myself to see if he was ready. The receptionist was too lazy to go up to the room herself. Normal service, right?! But the first thing she said when making the order: "There is good homemade wine, chacha, cognac."
As I wrote earlier, the room is renovated. But after the repair, it was already repaired in pieces, such as a glued piece of wallpaper on top of the old ones, painted over with water emulsion where there were streaks from water flowing from the upper floor, and the door and bed were smeared during painting (of course, no one wiped the streaks). And there is generally water in the door to the balcony, 5 liters - you can run fish. How did the water get there?! By the way, the door didn't close.
The furniture is good, except for the armchair. There should have been a sliding armchair, but it was stolen and a faded armchair from the 70s of the last century with worn wooden handles was put in.
The bathroom smells like sewage.
Food and the place of eating is generally a separate topic, which cannot be described without a mat. I will try to culturally briefly. The dining room is 2-storey with patched windows that do not open. Apparently, no one has heard about large fans or air conditioners there. And this is in the August heat with high humidity! In general, you come out of there like from a good bath (from you and over you flows everywhere).
Food. I've never eaten such a tasteless meal before. Salads: simply grated and already dried like a herbarium carrot or beetroot, tomato, cucumber and onion salad without adding salt, spices, oil (wilted onion with a taste of old age). A couple of times they were given chopped bananas and chopped cherished apples - it looked like it was made for pigs. This does not happen at the buffet tables. The soup called "Friendship" speaks for itself - I chewed it myself, pass it to another. There was also one dish under 5 different names. The dish looked like a crumbling meatball without the presence of meat in the gravy with a disgusting taste of old fat. But every day it was under different names: meatballs, schnitzel, meatballs, kebab (in the form of meatballs without meat!!!) and I don't remember the fifth name anymore.
At lunch, the compote and the so-called juice from tangerines were absolutely tasteless and resembled jupi from the 90s of the last century.
Strangely enough, delicious food and drink were for breakfast. Delicious pancakes, casserole, amlet, cheesecakes, cottage cheese, cheese, sausage.
Remember, I wrote that I regretted that I settled on the 13th floor. As it turned out, they have a lack of light and water in the order of things. Imagine going up to the 13th floor several times a day. And there's a hot room waiting for you upstairs, because the air conditioner doesn't work. And now add to this the lack of water above the 6th floor. And they have this, as it turned out, every year. The Abkhazians are not doing anything at all to remedy the situation.
There are no sun beds either - you need to occupy them early in the morning.
You might think I'm a spoiled sissy. No. I know that there is no water at all and for a long time there is no light, food, communication, heating, in general, there is nothing. But we were traveling to take a break from the reality around us, and we got into an extreme vacation that we did not order at all. The service staff - Abkhazians (not cleaners) are very lazy, and the management does not want to get into the service, but at the same time get the most. They don't have any service at all.
The only good thing is the sea. A beautiful warm, clear sea with complete calm! Moreover, if there are small waves in the area of the "Lighthouse", then there is complete calm in the area of the "golden fleece".
Therefore, the beautiful sea leveled almost all negative emotions. But, the cool sea is not the merit of the Abkhazians.

It is possible and necessary to relax in Pitsunda in the Association of Pitsunda boarding houses if you are an undemanding traveler. Advantages: location, the purest gentle sea, nature, pine trees, views, sunsets. Cons: disgusting food, crowding and confusion in the dining room, lack of tables, appliances, etc., low level of service, or rather its complete absence. For 11 days there was no change of linen, towels, cleaning only after persistent requests, even scandals. But all the cons outweigh the pros. Among the excursions, I can recommend a boat trip to Mussera with a visit to the dachas of Stalin and Gorbachev.

We had a rest at the end of August, two adults, two children. Suite, the best room in the boarding house - 2 rooms with two balconies. The room itself is spacious and well equipped: refrigerator, kettle, two air conditioners, two TVs - everything is in working order. The decoration of the room is very economical, the furniture is old, the sofa is falling apart. Children sleep normally, but adults will be uncomfortable. Shower (with curtain), toilet - everything is in working condition. There is a smell from the toilet - an obvious legacy of old communications. The room was cleaned regularly (the floor was swept), towels were not changed, wet cleaning was not carried out.
The undoubted advantage of the boarding house is its location: a wide beach line, clear sea, natural shade from the sun, closed territory, pine forest around.
Minuses:
Disgusting food. Conditionally acceptable is only breakfast (porridge, cottage cheese), broth soup, bread and butter, chopped tomatoes with cucumbers, chopped cabbage for lunch. For dinner, what was not eaten for breakfast and lunch is served. Products imitating sausage, cheese and meat are not eaten even by dogs. The boarding house should abandon dinners, enhancing the quality of breakfasts and lunches.
The situation with the sunbeds. The queue to take a sunbed is occupied at 5.30 in the morning, by 6 the sun beds end, vacationers go to sleep before breakfast. Constant quarrels on the beach of those who got up in the morning, taking a sunbed and those who considered it unimportant, dropping someone else's towel. It is unclear why the administration cannot restore order by providing sun beds with resort books - many vacationers in the private sector come to the boarding house, who also occupy sun beds in the morning.
Rolling shutdowns of water and electricity. The communications of the boarding house, which are more than 50 years old, cannot cope with such an influx of vacationers, electricity was turned off twice in 10 days and water was turned off 2 times for half a day. For people living on the upper floors, the lack of a working elevator is a big problem, and the lack of water is a problem for everyone.
The advantages of the boarding house (apart from the territory) it is worth mentioning the staff of the boarding house, who left a very pleasant impression about their work - the staff of the dining room, the hotel reception, who are engaged in cleaning. Despite the obvious problems with the infrastructure and organization, the employees sincerely try to make the rest pleasant and sincerely help where they can do it. Very kind-hearted attitude towards children and guests of the country as a whole.
In general, the Pitsunda resort is a good alternative to the resorts of the Russian Black Sea region, and this place has a lot of fans (many of whom, however, have not rested anywhere except Pitsunda), but when traveling it is worth noting that this is a very popular budget resort, with "very economical" food, poor infrastructure and poor organization of important conditions for recreation.

We had a rest in September 2022. They settled in Apsny. The room is renovated, but very small and cramped. The kettle is on the floor. But everything in the room and on the floor is new. But the elevators are dead.. Bed linen without pretensions. There is simply no service on the territory of the resort as such. There is no reception in APSNY as such. The first floor is like a broken, squalid little family, come in and out who you want after 6 pm. The most important FAILURE is nutrition. It feels like the staff is stealing absolutely everything in the kitchen. It's just sickening. There is no meat. Only some offal and scraps of meat.. There is no baking. But there are trays with corn sticks or driers in the morning. Butter - a piece on a tray - cut it yourself. The dishes are all plastic. Of the fruits, there were only chopped apples on a tray and a lemon in the evening for tea from a large bowl... and Bread (delicious) without restrictions. On the beach, the most important inconvenience is the shortage of sun beds, which need to be grabbed at 7:00. Then there is a risk if the sunbeds are not tied up, they will be taken away while you are at sea or at lunch. The attitude of the locals is not welcoming to say the least. Vacationers are a burden and an annoyance to them. The transfer from the airport is kind of wild. One bus takes you to the border, then a 300-meter crossing with suitcases across the border for a conductor in a Mexican hat, then a transfer to another transport. Reverse transfer according to exactly the same scheme. Well, what is without complaints is nature and the sea. The main age of vacationers is our compatriots over 70 years old, give or take. Water was drunk from the tap and from fountains on the territory. Everything was without consequences. The weather at the end of September was 50-50.

We had a vacation with my wife in August 2023. We were there for the first time and, hopefully, for the last time.
From the very beginning: when they approached the greeter at the station and greeted him, there was no response. I told him "hello" again and again the question "What's your last name". When they got into the car to go to the building to check in, the driver, offended that two women got out of the car and went to change the license plates, began to swear loudly.
Needless to say, a wonderful start to the holiday ...
Well, then everything went in the same spirit: two and a half days without any water, then two days without light. And a favorite topic of conversation among vacationers is what is better when there is no water or light.
Meals (dining room #2) - slop. You cut the meatballs, and inside there is raw red minced meat and everything like that.
It is necessary to remind about the replacement of linen and linen, about the fact that it is necessary to put toilet paper too.
In short, I do not advise anyone to go there.

The advantages of a vacation in the middle of May 2022 in the pension OPK Pitsunda, Golden Fleece building: the view is gorgeous!!!! The room is big! They provided the 7th floor.(large rooms 704 and 705 with sea view) Cleaning almost every day! A very good maid, she will tell you everything and help with any question! The admins are wonderful and kind women, thank them for their work!
There are disadvantages, but there are not so many of them: @It's a pity that there are no kettles in the rooms at the boarding house for such money (we take them at the reception to warm the water and immediately need to take them back, a very strange service ..., TVs in the rooms do not work, only in the lobby) I don't understand what kind of services they are.... I think that we won't go any more for such money with such services that are not provided. All tourists are outraged!

We are resting for the 4th year in the military industrial complex of PITSUNDA. There has never been such an outrage as this year. We live in the Golden Fleece building. I got the 14th floor. This is darkness!!! Of the 12 days of stay, we sit without water for the third time. After disconnecting, it simply does not reach the 14th floor. Elevators periodically glitch. The dining room is much worse this year. Either the cook has changed, or they have started stealing more. More or less breakfast, the rest is impossible to eat. The cutlets are like plasticine, the side dishes are tasteless, the menu is the same. In this case, they just fucked up with cheap fish. There are no complaints about cleaning and changing clothes. The purest sea and pine trees are the only thing that pleases. And so, of course, the decline. Prices have been raised for everything and the attitude is not ice. For their own considerable money, they do it as a favor. In general, it is necessary to change the location of the rest.

We rested in the first half of 2022, in the 1st building (the most renovated) Of the advantages: a large territory, a lot of cafes, stalls nearby, the food is tolerable (monotonous, but no one was poisoned). Meat dishes all have the same taste, only the names have changed (hedgehogs, cutlets, meatballs ...) There is nothing to drink for lunch except tasteless compote, we bought wine here, Isabella (nothing). The first line of the sea. Of the cons: We got a small room, there was no way to get between the beds, but two balconies (we had a 3-seater with an extra bed, instead of an extra bed they put a cot. To my question, why not an extra bed, but a cot, they shrugged, 2 days before departure they still put an extra bed for us) Mattresses were delivered to us and repairs were made. Elevators were constantly breaking down, people were stuck in them. Plus, the workers carried new furniture, occupied one elevator. There is no drinking water anywhere in the building. They didn't dare to drink on the street. Toilets are on site, it's scary to go in. The building of the hotel building is very old, it creates a sad impression. There was no promised animation at all, for 14 days there were Georgian dances on broken chairs in the concert hall. (for an additional fee.payment) Our tour price included sun beds and umbrellas (which was confirmed to us at the reception), but in fact the sun beds had to be occupied with a fight at 6 a.m. (my husband tried twice, but could not take at least one sunbed!) There are only 30-40 of them for a huge hotel and they come to the territory for a fee, who wants to, also occupies. The sea was cold and clear. Of the 14 days, only 7 sunny days, the rest is rain (this is in July!) There are abandoned buildings on the territory, with broken windows. In my opinion, the price is very high.

Good afternoon. We are vacationing with children for the 10th year in the military industrial complex Pitsunda. Before that, we had a vacation in the Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, so there is something to compare it with. Pitsunda is a paradise on earth for families with children: the purest calm gentle sea, fresh air, nature untouched by civilization, the buildings are located right on the coast, there is no highway nearby, the noise of cars. Cozy cafes along the entire beach line, a favorite cafe on the 25th floor of the Bzyb building, from there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea and mountains! The buffet meals are normal, varied, of course, I would like more goodies for dinner, but the kids ate well: for lunch, three soups to choose from, two side dishes, two or three meat dishes, lots of fresh salads and pickles. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the administrator of the dining room No. 1, Diana Viktorovna, for her friendly attitude, desire to help, and hospitality. Thanks to the administration of the boarding house for a great vacation!

I sent my elderly relatives. Transfer in Adler is not enough that I did not meet him, so I had to wait for him for a long time. And they say the Abkhazians respect the elderly. And Tele2 is temporarily blocked.
And now about the search for your holiday-makers. 112 couldn't get through to Abkhazia. They told you to contact the police. Travel agencies, the average answer, are not At the right address / we can't help with anything (that is, they don't have a connection either). All the phones that the system has issued on the Internet are not ice. All groups and soo associated with Pitsunda in VK and OK, not working, abandoned. That is, there are no Admins.

It started with the fact that they cheated with the number, the administration gave one, and at the reception they said that it was being cleaned and cleaned for another person, and we will give you another slightly worse one.The food is terrible, even if you close your eyes to salad poisoning, thanks to which we lost a couple of days!The lights turn off every other day, so physical education in the form of climbing to the 14th floor on foot is provided to you.But the apogee of this holiday was the three-day shutdown of the water, I was very surprised how some epidemic did not start) the only plus is the location, for which one star.In general, I do not recommend it
