We stopped on the way home, the passage to the embankment is paid, even in the month of May...The price also includes sun beds..I didn't see anything good there, one building, several palm trees..maybe the air is better, because there is a grove there...That's it...Although everyone admires Pitsunda..don't know..Personally, for me, there are many very beautiful places in Abkhazia, and we have our own sea..the same Black.. We rested from 06/07/2021 to 06/18/2021. There is nothing good except the sea. The dead buildings, the dead furniture, the stench from the bathroom. The TV has not been working since June 2. The staff in the buildings is a separate topic. Always dissatisfied, rude people. And everything! Dining room and meals - I don't even want to remember. Food is not food, it's slop! One thing saves - it's the sea and nature. That's all.

Vacation from 08/26/2014
to 09/04/20. My husband and I come here every year for 2 weeks, at first we rented an apartment, went far to the beach, and for 4 years we have been staying in the military industrial complex Pitsunda. This year everything was different, the attitude changed or maybe we were just unlucky. The room was provided in the Lighthouse "killed", although 3 floors were not inhabited, they waited half a day until they were cleaned (not prepared since winter) - they did not wait for us. The dining room on the Lighthouse side (it's better not to go there) is terrible, they were poisoned on the 5th day. We spent three days in the room. I won't set foot in the boarding house anymore, but I probably won't be able to part with Pitsunda - the sea, the fairy tale, the magical nature, we will look for other options.

We came to rest in mid-May 2021 for 10 nights and immediately upon check-in they tried to rip us off for 400 rubles per person. The lady sitting in the window did not hesitate to try to get insurance, which, by the way, we did even when buying a ticket from a travel agency. We started to get indignant and she quieted down. 15 people arrived with us that day, we were hungry all day, we hoped that our group would be fed dinner, but it was not there, it turned out we did not have time for it, but it was dry.the share was not provided for us, although this day was fully paid for. THE RESPECTED ADMINISTRATION DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THIS, KNOWING THAT ABOUT 15 NEW HUNGRY TOURISTS WOULD ARRIVE. I had to buy bread and lecho in the store, because the cafes were not working that evening (because of the rain or because they did not want to). These were the first bells of the beginning of the holiday. Continuing the theme of FOOD, I would like to separately mention the dining room .., the so-called "buffet". To be honest, the food was tasteless, with rare exceptions, sometimes chicken and first courses for lunch were possible. Otherwise, stable heartburn is guaranteed. The so-called cutlets, kebabs had a "special" flavor, buckwheat, rice and pasta were steadily lying in lumps mixed with yesterday's ones.. In principle, it was impossible to eat oatmeal because of the unwashed garbage.. Tea is not tea, but flavorless rinses.. Among the advantages: cottage cheese, fresh salads, borscht, chicken, fish. I also want to say about the general atmosphere in the dining room, if at first there were few people, then by the middle of the rest there were more people and the dining room was crowded, the general atmosphere was chaotic, there were not enough tables, Delhi was running, etc. worse than in a McDuck .., 200 people at once rush to the buffet. The background was consistently the same music for breakfast lunch and dinner in the Leps style, complementing all the chaos that was happening "The best day came yesterday, etc..."
Since the middle-end of May was not the season, the weather was not for swimming (temp. water +18), it was raining in private and not all cafes/establishments were working. The local water park was not open.
Another point is the numbers. We lived in building 3, "Bzyb", a 2-bed room of the 1st category. In 10 days, they wiped the floor and changed the towels only once and then when we asked. The garbage was taken out 1 time in 3 days. The TV was not working.. the beds are uncomfortable, 1 kettle on two floors, which was glued on tape so as not to be carried away (this is very funny).
Sun loungers on the beach for some reason without mattresses, it is very uncomfortable..
In general, one of the advantages is the gorgeous nature, the air, the clean transparent sea and the location, but this does not apply to the defense industry complex "PITSUNDA" in any way. We were here for the first and last time. You can walk around the territory of the defense industry, admire nature, but we do not recommend living here and taking a ticket.
Wishes of the administration: we appreciate your efforts, the ongoing repairs in the buildings, the improvement of the territory. I would like to see more comfortable beds, mattresses, pillows in the rooms, see kettles, bedside tables (instead of shelves), so that the staff stably and efficiently cleaned the rooms, took out the trash, changed linen and towels.
Pay special attention to the quality of the food in the dining room and the number of seats, there are more tourists, and there are not always enough places, you have to wait for the vacant tables..

What a pity that in such a wonderful territory, with such a clear sea, such a nightmare in the dining room (closed terrace without air conditioning, heat under 40g, stuffiness. Everyone is sitting sweating. And there's nothing to eat, it's the same thing every day! Even the simplest dishes are not tasty - that's how you can spoil buckwheat porridge??... it is better to keep silent about meat dishes - bread and rice. The only thing that could be eaten was cottage cheese and sour cream, vegetables. what is offered is not tasty and not of high quality - maybe unroasted liver, overcooked pasta, and compote is just water with a few drops of some kind of juice. And this is in the summer, when there are a lot of fruits.This is not a buffet, but a Swedish "chair". I am very sorry for the employees who work in this dining room under such unbearable conditions for them! Where is the sanitary inspection station? Administration?
There are terrible crowds of people in the dining room every day, all the tables are packed, there is no way to get to the dishes.
The mood is corrected only by nature and friendly staff, who try very hard to respond to all requests. Thank them very much!

In the resort area of the military industrial complex Pitsunda there is a clear sea, relict pines, clean air. I was in Sukhum, Gudauta, New Athos, and Gagra. Pitsunda has the cleanest and calmest sea. The view is beautiful, the water is 25 degrees in July, 27 and above in August. I was in my car, drove up Momzyshkha Mountain, went to Lake Ritsa, a hydrogen sulfide spring, a trout farm. I advise those who love nature, those who love comfort, look for another vacation

We had a rest in August 2019. The Golden Fleece case. I liked everything except the food..food, of course, is a complete dish.. Breakfast and dinner are still nothing..but lunch is just a nightmare.. and fruits at the very beginning of August to serve some kind of green plums and pears - wild in ABKHAZIA! This is beyond the limit..and so the sea is gorgeous and in my opinion the best..and I was everywhere in Gagra..Sukhumi..Gudauta..New Athos..Ochamchire..Here, of course, it is bliss! That's why you're going..We'll come again!

This is the 4th time we have come here. Every time in the hope that everything will be fine! Every year I brought my relatives and friends here, because the nature here is gorgeous and the climate is wonderful! However, this was the last time we came to the military industrial complex of PITSUNDA. every year it got worse and worse... I don't focus on turning off the lights and water (this is not the fault of the administration)... But coming here and paying a lot of money (for 15 days, accommodation with meals for 3 people (2 rooms + 1 room) in a room of 1 room. - more than 110 rubles).
The food was not very good, but this year it's just terrible... We are not picky about food, but daily overcooked pasta, rice (which is mixed with yesterday's) and buckwheat (a similar situation is yesterday's with newly boiled), and potatoes, where fat floats instead of pieces of meat... Sorry, they're just not edible... The cutlets should be at least a little meat, and not made of hreshes and rice... The only things that could be eaten were pancakes and casseroles in the morning and rare (dry) chicken pieces at lunch. (this year, after each trip to lunch or dinner in canteens where there was really nothing, we went to cafes and restaurants) Moreover, the staff of the 2nd dining room did not hesitate to approach and pull out a chicken with their HANDS from the common dishes.
As for the rooms, nothing has changed in the rooms in 4 years... Even the furniture is not being repaired.. They wrapped up the maximum with tape... About mattresses with spots from which springs stick out, and pillows that are all in unclear spots, I'm even afraid to talk... Relatives generally found out that the mattress was just wet, and it was shot with a blanket.
In 15 days, we have never had our bed linen and towels changed, although we should have at least once every 6 days... My requests to change were answered that there was no laundry, because this year their laundry schedule has not changed.
There was always a smell from the sewer in the bathroom, but this time it just caught my throat... As if they lived in the sewage treatment plants ...
the air conditioner was running, I turned to the administration with this question, went 2 times. as a result, no one came and looked at what the problem was (we hung the bag on the candy, so that at least it would not flow on the bed)... There was no cleaning in the rooms as such, and at the entrance there was a huge layer of dirt and sand under the bed and in the corners of the room ..
In general, I can say.... It was not a vacation, but a horror....
I am very sorry that, on my recommendation, people came to you in such conditions... Even the gorgeous nature is not worth such torment.
DEAR ADMINISTRATION OF the defense industry OF PITSUNDA, people pay and come to you to relax, not to look for problems. You are not asked to organize leisure activities for vacationers and make a chic infrastructure ....
If you cannot feed people properly, give them the opportunity to purchase vouchers to you without food, or feed people with dignity (no one asks for frills), but before that, make sure that the rooms are in order. Replace mattresses and pillows, do general room cleaning, fix all furniture and all electronics in the rooms, sort out the sewerage (you want to breathe sea air, not waste products).
And finally, solve the issue of sun loungers and umbrellas.
Put things in order, you are not being asked for stars from the sky... Everyone understands perfectly well that there is a crisis in the country.
But taking such money only for accommodation is RUDENESS AND CHEATING ...
Conclusion: if we also go to Abkhazia, then these will be small houses, as it turned out there are a lot of them on the coast. Nature and views are the same, even the territory is almost the same, the beach is the same, comfort is even better, and prices are 5 times cheaper... Without food, but there are a lot of cafes nearby and you can eat decently and not expensively in them-it's been checked! It turns out to be even more budget-friendly..
THEREFORE, ONE STAR, AND THEN ONLY FOR NATURE.

Today, July 21, 2021, I couldn't stand it.
THERE HAS BEEN NO WATER FOR THE SECOND DAY. All the toilets are fucked up. There are no latches in the toilet at all. Sit and hold the door.
We are unpretentious to housing and have always traveled to Pitsunda for the sea and the sun, but this time they surpassed themselves. In a building with 14 floors, only two of the THREE elevators work and one of these two breaks down almost every day. That leaves one. People are waiting on the floors. People are waiting downstairs. Crowds of people are just waiting for the elevator.
The water was turned off before lunch once. The next day, again. On the third day, there is no cold or hot water at all from morning to evening!!!
Okay I. And the girls? Everyone grumbles at the staff. Those are like the staff of the Five "and we have nothing to do with it."
No one is responsible for anything. To my indignation, I was offered to take a suitcase and go home.
I'll leave, and you'll stay in this mess. Is it really not clear?
If I were their director, I would personally walk around the buildings, apologize and explain what the matter is.
Otherwise, it seems that no one really cares that people have nowhere to wash and it's okay not to go to the toilet. Imagine the stench in the toilets where they haven't been flushed for three days.
That's the kind of hospitality in Pitsunda today…
