We had a rest in August 2021. We endlessly admired the sea, and that was the end of all pleasant emotions. The Abkhazian buffet is a cheap self-service dining room. Side dishes: rice, buckwheat, pilaf (this is the same rice, only yellow), balanda made of potatoes and zucchini. From meat: stomachs, heart, liver, chicken for lunch only. First courses: cabbage soup is a broth with coarsely chopped cabbage, potatoes are almost not found; chicken noodles soup with noodles did not dare to try - it is a cloudy liquid with boiled noodles, there were also solyanka and borscht. For breakfast, yeast pancakes, cottage cheese casserole with cottage cheese inclusions, drying, flakes that could only be brewed with hot milk (cold was not served), omelette, two types of porridge. One thing was given from the fruit: sliced apples or pears or watermelon. From vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, beets and zucchini.
Separately, I must say about the dishes - they are plastic, from the appliances only forks and spoons for soup (there are no teaspoons and table knives). There is a transparent client on the tables, and the room is unbearably stuffy.
By the way, the scent of the mighty pine forest interrupts the stench from the garbage and the street toilet.
Guests are not greeted like this! I conclude that they treat us like pigs who will eat everything and endure everything, because the sea there is wonderful.

I have been vacationing on Pitsunda since 1972. Everything is only changing for the worse. There are a lot of people, it's not just vacationers at the resort. The administration lets everyone in for money. As a result, having paid 3 thousand rubles per day for a ticket, you do not have the opportunity to use a sunbed when you come to the beach at 6 am. Those coming from the street occupy the sun beds in the evening. The food is bad. I am currently vacationing in Colchis, there is a tent in front of the building on the beach, where they give out surfboards. The guy who works there turns on the music to the fullest, so it's impossible to be in the building, although the storm is cloudy, there are no vacationers, he entertains himself. He does not respond to comments. For the first 4 days I rested in the Apsna building. Music from the cafe at the seaport is blaring there until late at night. You can't exploit nature.

I had a rest at the Golden Sands boarding house from 02.08. to 08.12.2022. I am writing specifically. The food seemed to be fine at first, but after one dinner I poisoned myself, I almost died. Thank God I took the pills with me and pumped myself out. The sea is great. I lived in a 2-storey house, everything is cool. The bed was changed only after my arrival after the 8th day. I understand that this means the resort of Pitsunda. Well, the service, of course, is unusual here for Russians. People drive with naked enthusiasm, like me, to friends, because of the place, nature, and special atmosphere. I can't say anything about the building in the photo, we stayed in another one about 5 years ago, it was freshly renovated, the furniture was decent, the TV worked average, wi-fi was only on the ground floor, the air conditioner was repaired at the entrance, but it was not completely repaired, the food in the dining room was tolerable, without much abundance. Separately about the dining room: vacationers, by the way, need to pay attention to their behavior, many behave like wild people, or even arrogant pigs. In 2021, the beach was not cleaned, as the garbage was thrown out by the sea, so it was lying around and swimming in the sea before our departure (1.5 weeks). It is especially dirty at the pier, there is generally an eternal garbage dump, I did not see a single cleaning person during my vacation on the beach, only on the embankment.

Since it is impossible to eat paid, you go to the cafe. You pay dearly there (oh, yes! It's not at all budget-friendly in Abkhazia) and it's still not tasty to eat... And you also need to ask the waiters to serve you, serve you, calculate... The only place where delicious and good prices are "yummy" (the main building on the left, you will find it in turn))), it's a pity that you found it late.
The territory of the defense industry is not well maintained. There are ruins everywhere. Lots of dogs and cats. When I sent the photo home, I received the question: "where did you find the castings there?" That's not necessary to look for - two steps.
Abkhazians are a very lazy and unfriendly people. They exploit everything that was created in the USSR, not wanting to maintain and restore, they just suck out every last drop. They avoid physical labor themselves, and the same Uzbeks work in similar positions. It's amazing that living at the expense of tourists, they dislike them so much. You will understand this neglect when you book a tour from one of their two agencies. By the way, be ready to pay 200-300rubles extra on the route for going somewhere:)
My whole trip is a profound disappointment to the state and the people. It will always remain a Miserable Abkhazia for me. But I got the unique nature that I went there for!) It is not the place that makes the rest, but the one who is next to me at this moment. So I rested and rebooted, despite the above.

Your claims and questions at the reception are not needed (in my presence, guests were rudely insulted because of claims about the lack of water)

We had a great rest in the military industrial complex Pitsunda (building Bzyb, September - October 2019). The nature is fabulous, a relict pine grove, the sea is the purest and most calm on the entire coast of Abkhazia and the KK, the air is not enough to breathe. The room is cozy, the food is good. A wonderful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can walk a lot through the pine grove, or walk to the shopping malls and the center of Pitsunda.

OPK Pitsunda building Colchis. We rested on the 12th floor overlooking the sea. The room is very simple. The bathroom combined with the toilet smells terribly of mold, pipes, sewage. There are problems with hot water. Sometimes they turn it off. Sometimes it's just disgusting pressure. The cleaning leaves much to be desired. Linen change 1 time per week. The dining room is a horror! The food is disgusting. It is impossible to eat. We hardly went to the dining room. We ate at our own expense in a cafe. The sea is wonderful! Clean. Affectionate, because the bay. But our building does not have sun beds and umbrellas this year. They said that there was not enough for all the buildings. I had to go to take deck chairs at 5:30 at the neighboring building (Golden Fleece). We were here for the second year in a row. We won't go any more. It is better to take the private sector and go to the beach for a fee. The defense industry is not worth the money. Sorry. There are no improvements. And more… Of the two elevators, one was under repair. And this is the month of July! Was it really impossible to prepare for the season in advance? The constant noise due to repairs was annoying, little said! It was impossible to rest at lunch. The second elevator coped very poorly with the flow of vacationers. Once the children got stuck. You need to book half a year in advance. Nature is magnificent. Pine forest. Boxwoods, eucalyptus trees, yews. A pebble beach, but 10 kilometers away there is a sandy one, ideal for children. There are many times fewer people on the beach than in Sochi. The sea is clear.

The Abkhazian courtyard was so annoying that it was impossible to fall asleep before 11 a.m. , plus the unbearable heat without air conditioning. The main complaint against the hotel is disrespect for its guests!!!!!!!.People should sleep at night, not listen to this discobar!!!! We will not come again!!!!!

I rested in early August in the 6th building of the Amra, I do not advise anyone. Of the advantages, this is probably only walking distance to the sea, silence. Of the minuses: completely incompetent staff, starting from registration and accommodation at the hotel (main building), the guy at the registration was very slow, constantly redoing something and sitting cross-legged, in the building itself a very boorish attitude, do not ask anything, the staff is always dissatisfied with something. The room was cleaned once a day, the cleaner just drove a wet rag across the floor, the toilet and shower were not washed once, the towels were all stained, they never changed in 1.5 weeks, they said that they washed them clean, the bed linen was also not changed, the beds were not made. The toilet constantly stank of sewage. The lights were constantly turned off at night, WiFi and TV did not work either. There is one elevator in working condition on all 14 floors, with a capacity for only 4 people, if 5 people go, then get ready to sit in a stuffy cabin, because there is no ventilation for at least 30 minutes and then if you are lucky, the emergency call button does not work, so my advice is to write down the number of the receptionist, huge queues at the elevator. The food is monotonous, mostly porridges on water and soups without meat. All porridges are cooked on water, which is why parents are constantly shouting at children who refuse to eat them. There is no fruit at all, unless last year's apples are cut into 4 halves. Fresh pasta and beetroot salad every day. Breakfasts are even less (casserole, pancakes).
I do not advise anyone to relax in this hotel. If you take it on a 5-point scale, then the review of this hotel is 1, but with a lot of tension and then only due to the proximity of the sea, it would be minus 1. Almost all the deck chairs are broken and dirty. My advice is if you don't want to lie on the rocks, then come early in the morning, then you still have the opportunity to take a normal chaise longue.
As for the sea, the sea is very clean, warm, transparent. If you look at the sea and go to the left, then the sea is calm, if you go to the right towards the "lighthouse", then you can ride the waves there, the waves are always there.

I absolutely agree about the elevators, which are always not working. Naturally, no one cleaned the room. And they didn't change the towels. The water was always hot and cold . But the lights are turned off regularly . Horror. Of course, the food is very poor and quickly gets boring. We went to a cafe a couple of times, where it's not cheap. It's a shame , because everything is paid for and I didn't want to eat in the dining room at all !!!This is not Turkey with its service. There is an absolute Council of Ministers here. We drove because there are no vaccine requirements. We were the first and probably the last time in Abkhazia) the service is not about this resort. And so nature is a bomb

I started calling the transfer representative again, and then he gave me that you would be picked up only at five in the morning, he had it written down, then the dispatcher of this office called and she said that they actually pick up the group transfer only until 22-00. Then the transfer driver called and was very sympathetic to me, but could not help, they have such damn rules. My travel agent was also shocked by such lies, to put it mildly, but he couldn't do anything, and at exactly five in the morning he will definitely be there. Now my daughter and I are sitting at the airport until five in the morning. I have only one fucking question why do you impose a mandatory transfer if you don't meet people and don't even call back. The menu is very modest. Cutlets, meatballs, meatballs, kebab are not meat dishes, but ground veins. Cottage cheese, sour cream, milk, butter are either of very poor quality, or they are vegetable fats. Cottage cheese does not smell like cottage cheese at all, milk is powdered.... Butter does not melt in your mouth, it feels like margarine or spread ...
The area is very large, unkempt, there are large fragments (pieces) of something on the ground, maybe sculptures, maybe something else.
Clean linen can be brought to the room for a change, you have to make it yourself. Toilet paper was not brought to us, we were looking for a maid ourselves and asked to be given out. The beach is a separate challenge for vacationers. If you are accommodated in the buildings of Bzyb, Golden Fleece, Colchis, then you have a better chance to take a sunbed in the morning, but more noise from the very early morning (people actively rattle the sun beds when they are disassembled). If you are unlucky, like us, and you are accommodated in one of the distant buildings, then be ready to get up at 4.20 am in order to provide yourself with a sunbed. There are a lot of broken sun beds, no one changes them.
We were accommodated in a room after renovation.
The mattress on the bed is so sagging on one side that it is impossible to sleep, you just fall over to the edge.The bed creaks so loudly that once again you don't want to turn over on this mattress. The door to the balcony is broken, opening and closing every time is a problem. You can continue to write about what you objectively disliked... Gorgeous nature, you can walk around a lot and the gentle, albeit cool sea. (we rested from June 19 to June 29.)
We will not go to this boarding house anymore.

An amazing grove with a Pitsunda pine. The water in the sea is clean and transparent. There is no comparison with Sochi. The beach is dirty. But this is more the "merit" of vacationers. I have never seen the beach cleaned in two weeks of my stay. Rooms in boarding houses require repairs even where he was. We have been vacationing since August 1, 2021. The Amr building. Apart from the gorgeous sea and the cleanest air, we can't say anything good. I didn't clean the room properly. The linen was changed only on the 6th day. The sink has never been washed in 10 days! Dining in the dining room is a separate topic! On day 3, they finally undermined their health! They could not cope with diarrhea for several days, and constant stomach pain began immediately after visiting the dining room. After that, they could not eat anything at all for days, they were treated with hunger and pills. (it's good that the stocks of pills were with them). The constant blackouts were also not pleasant. So next time we will definitely not eat here and we do not advise you.

We arrived at night, the defense industry was closed until the morning and we had to wait outside. We lived in the Apsny building in a superior room. This category of rooms is located on the 12th and 14th floors of the building. We lived on the 14th floor. The rooms themselves are good, with a fresh renovation. But during the stay we faced big problems, There was not a single day for the elevator to work properly in the building. It either doesn't work, or it gets stuck and shuts down. And all the rest days we were forced to climb the 14th floor on foot several times a day "with increased comfort". We actually lived on a construction site. Below us, on the 13th floor, there was continuous renovation (both day and night). All this was perfectly audible and made it difficult to rest. The only staircase that could be descended was claimed by building materials. The staff of the corps showed absolute incompetence. In any case, with any problem, they referred to the fact that none of them was responsible for it, one was passing by, the second just went to sit, etc. When contacting the deputy. the director of the defense industry with a request to recalculate for the inconvenience, we received from him only a portion of rudeness and threats. Nutrition deserves a separate topic. The menu is very monotonous. There is no meat from the word "in general", only tasteless meat products. There are no normal salads, you will not have to count on pastries and fruits either. By the end of the rest, they began to eat in the city canteen, because health is more expensive. The food is frankly tasteless. From the cheapest products. Besides porridge, you can only eat something at your own risk. In general, if you want to spoil your vacation, then you are here.

We rested in the lighthouse building from August 14 to 24, 2021. Well, the fact that the room is cheap and without amenities is fine, we knew where we were going, but the fact that there is a cafe under the windows in which the music is hammering until 12 at night and then drunken women are screaming songs until 2 o'clock, that's right. Plus, there is no air conditioning, there are so many mosquitoes that the balcony cannot be opened at all in the evening, it could be hung up, people are also sweating in the dining room, it is very stuffy. And so, in general, everything is beautiful, the nature is super, the sea is clean, the air from the relic grove is so dizzy. It's only because of the nature that it's worth going there. Next time we will go only to a good room, so as not to spoil our rest. Russian russians are still there, who come with a thousand in their wallet and go to a cafe at the expense of the Abkhazians, well, then they have to pay in kind, respectively, and therefore the Abkhazians believe that all Russian girls are easily accessible. But as we wrote earlier, the administration should think about it so that tourists want to come back again, review the food in the dining room, update mattresses and linen, instruct the staff so that they are more friendly. We had to eat half of our vacation in a cafe behind the Lighthouse, it was very tasty there. And we just threw money at the dining room, even stray dogs couldn't eat there.
