Of the advantages:
- Good rooms.
- Clean and tidy.
- Affordable price
- There is air conditioning and a refrigerator
Of the cons:
- There were no disposable slippers in the room.
- Instead of a card, a key with a heavy metal keychain with the inscription of the number.
- Good audibility.
- wifi is issued to the device.
Overall, the hotel made a positive impression, we managed to get enough sleep.
The hotel is in a very good location, near Victory Park. It is located quite close to the historical center. The elevators have been changed, the room is pulling for 3 people.
The hotel made me very happy. Instant booking via the website without advance payment, payment by the Mir card is absolutely hassle-free, impeccably polite staff. The location is almost in the center. The room is small, but very clean, with a fairly fresh renovation, the beds and pillows are comfortable even for my sore back. A full set of furniture in the room for 2 - and a wardrobe with hangers in the corridor, and 2 bedside tables by the beds, and even a cabinet for a suitcase. The water pressure in the shower is wonderful. There is a cooler with hot and cold water on the floor, there are no cups and a kettle in the room, only water glasses. Breakfast is not refined, but varied and delicious at home. There is a large guarded parking lot behind the hotel. Near the exchange office, open except Sundays. Just don't forget your slippers, the floor is parquet.
When I go to Minsk again, I will definitely live here again
One of the advantages is the idea of a good hotel in the USSR. That's all the advantages I have ended.
And in general, there is probably no competent manager who cared about the guests. The rooms are dirty, not properly equipped and understaffed, in a dirty condition. And in general, the whole complex is in a neglected state.
The father should be ashamed that so many guests are greeted near his residence
I fell in love with Minsk, so I don't want any negative reviews, but they are there...a cold shower, early closing of the bar, in the evening after a walk you can afford...but, these are small things, since the excellent location of the hotel, personally milking me, compensates for its shortcomings
The numbers are dead. The windows and curtains are dirty. The maids clean only the bathroom, or rather, they do not clean anything. They come to see if they need to put toilet paper, change towels, pick up garbage (only from the bathroom). We rested for 5 days. In the evenings, they drank a bottle of wine - they put an empty one on the floor in the room, since it did not fit in the trash can. So the bottles accumulated until the end of the rest - no one removed them.
The receptionist independently changed the double room to a twin room, although they booked the first option. After pointing out the mistake, an employee with such an indignant face changed our number.......
One of the advantages: good location. Near Victory Park, 10 minutes by metro. Breakfast is very simple, but everything is delicious - you will not stay hungry.
I really liked how everything is kept clean and tidy in Belarus, but so far this is not about the Planeta Hotel
The hotel needs renovation . clean , but everything is tired inside. The price does not match the quality. breakfast buffet is 29 rubles . toothbrushes at the reception for money. Even-numbered rooms have a good view. the only advantage is the location.
I really liked the hotel. The price is not high, the location is excellent , near the WWII museum. Lots of restaurants and a big shopping mall. I recommend.
We were in Minsk at the end of June 2024. We stayed at the Planeta Hotel. We have booked a two-room Suite.
Positive: good location, good breakfasts.
Cons: The rooms are old, the furniture is from the 80s. The photos of the room do not match reality (instead of two double beds in one of the rooms there is a folding sofa, old, squeaky terribly! The bathtub is also old. The windows don't open well, there are no screens, they haven't been washed, apparently, for many years. Cleaning for 4-. The first room did not have air conditioning in one of the rooms, so I had to ask for another room. Bed linen is not made for extra.the place- you have to do everything yourself. The double bed is made with linen for a single bed! Arriving at the room at 12 o'clock in the morning, I had to do everything myself, ask for a normal set of underwear (which also did not turn out to be). The folding sofa did not work, I had to call the master ....
In short, you understand that this is not the level of a Suite, from the word- at all!
Bottom line: next time, this hotel will definitely not be chosen by us.
A hotel for those nostalgic for the USSR. Clean, the rooms are very compact, the bathroom is cramped, but not critical. There are problems with water, the taps must be unscrewed completely so that they somehow flow out. The food is decent, the buffet at 7 a.m. is good, I didn't see it later, but they say there's not much left. The only thing that caused delight was the mattress on the bed. It is as convenient as possible. You lie down, and you physically feel your back saying "Thank you! ". So it's a very average hotel, but just to spend the night is fine.
A comfortable place, with a pleasant view and a convenient location
Among the disadvantages: there is a shower tray and a light curtain in the room, there is little space and when bathing you rub against the curtains
There are no slippers, a dental kit
The reception staff is not friendly, you can contact them for any questions, just not to them
It's a bit expensive for this level of service.
The rooms are small and old, and a dozen years ago it was a luxurious nomenclature hotel.
There is a private parking lot behind the barrier, a pass is issued upon check-in, and then you drive in.
We lived 2 times in a suite. Excellent attitude towards the guests. A small swimming pool. But there are massage areas. Delicious breakfast. A good location near the metro and the embankment, close to cafes , shops and shopping centers.One of the disadvantages is that they do not accept dogs, now we cannot stay here, I hope that over time the hotel will become a dogfrendlyand we will come here again.
Of the advantages :
Convenient online booking
The cost is lower than most others
Convenient location
Air conditioning in the room
Availability of rooms
Polite staff
Of the cons:
The cost, although lower, is still quite high
San nodes look "tired"
And so, a good option
A large number of rooms. They settled in on holidays when there were no places. We had a rest on March 8. There is a guarded parking lot with electric car chargers for guests. The rooms are simple, but clean and cozy. The staff is friendly. Buffet on the 2nd floor in the restaurant. A variety of breakfast options. You won't leave hungry! Convenient location to many attractions of the city.
The rooms are Soviet-style, but clean. There is no kettle, respectively, tea, coffee, etc. The cooler is on the floor, the water is cold and hot, there are no mugs in the room either, only two glasses for water. The staff is helpful. The breakfast buffet is decent. Elevators are being repaired, it is noisy and dusty.
Excellent location, within walking distance of many attractions, cultural and social facilities, shops. A small room. Comfortably. Clear. Caring attitude towards the guests. Beautiful view of the city.
I've never written bad reviews, even if there were some flaws. But there are so many disadvantages in this hotel that it is impossible not to write. Don't be fooled by the more or less beautiful general view and entrance, everything else is a complete horror! Plumbing: there is not even such a thing in old communal apartments, there is no hot water, the taps on the sink turn with the mixer, I broke my nail on the button on the flush tank, and since it was impossible to press it, the watering can in the shower splashes everywhere, but not at you, and it's scary to go into this cabin. The maid only took the trash out of the basket, Wi-Fi is barely there, it's almost impossible to watch TV - everything hisses, about the key to the door in almost all reviews, okay, you can turn it in so as not to carry this weight with you, but here's the door!((( the doors close with such a bang that they never get used to it and jump and shudder every time. In general, I do not recommend a hotel, only if there are no other options left, and there is nowhere to spend the night.
I didn't like the hotel. We lived in room 1203. When opening the door to the room, the first thing that appeared was the smell of wet and rotten carpet, which did not disappear completely throughout our stay. The toilet and bathroom wish to have the best. The breakfast is modest. One type of coffee comes from the coffee machine, although you press different names. It is valuable for a number that bites, it is overestimated for a three. You can spend the night for one night.
A great hotel for your money! I booked through Yandex.Journeys. 2 people lived on May 9-10. I took it with breakfast.
Very nice rooms: clean, modern bathroom, beautiful view from the window, wi-fi.
Breakfast is excellent, buffet style and a lot of snacks.
The hotel is great. Full immersion in the USSR. The hood is not working, there is no air freshener)))) The restaurant cooks deliciously, the rooms are clean and tidy. I recommend it!
The numbers are like a lottery. Some will be lucky, and some will not. We stayed for one night. We arrived late in the evening. Room 34 on the 6th floor was not prepared. The sound didn't work on the TV (it was fixed quickly). The shower curtain is not working properly, the drain worked poorly. The administration has not commented on the situation and has not apologized. It doesn't match 3 stars. I do not recommend it
As an unpretentious and simple person in my preferences and needs, I could have been given 5 stars, but the double room requiring cosmetic repairs, as well as the furniture in it and, in addition, the leaky faucet of the sink in the bathroom, were not allowed to do this;) buffet breakfast - a separate five in the rating;)
The hotel is not bad. Friendly staff. Disadvantages: the air conditioners work very poorly, I had to change the room. The bathroom equipment (faucets) is also not new. It is inconvenient to use the shower because of the low pressure and poor adjustment of the faucets. In general, the impression of the hotel is positive.
The big hotel is located not far from the center. There is a shopping center nearby within walking distance. The breakfasts are bad every day, the same thing, the pastries are not fresh, there is nothing to eat. The room is normally not critical, but some kind of cosmetic repairs are required, especially in the bathroom. We cleaned the rooms for 3+.
A normal hotel, with slightly tired furniture and plumbing, but generally comfortable. Comfortable mattress, clean linen, quiet in the room, there is an additional door separating the room from the corridor.
Among the disadvantages - there are no cups or kettle in the room, the refrigerator did not work. But there was a cooler on the floor, and a glass in the bathroom, so they didn't die of thirst, but in my opinion such a service falls a little short of three stars.
The location of the hotel is also quite acceptable, although not the best. It is located exactly in the middle between Nemiga and Yubileynaya metro stations. Most of the attractions can be reached on foot, within 1-3 km. The Museum of the Patriotic War is right across the street. There is a large shopping center and a grocery store nearby. Breakfast and business lunch are organized at the hotel. There is no swimming pool, it is rented out.
There was nothing very critical, categorically incompatible with comfort.
Terrible hotel.
The room was not cleaned normally during the entire week of stay.
They came to the reception on the 3rd day and asked to start changing at least the bed linen - the employees, rolling their eyes, said that they could not solve this request, since the laundry was not under their control and they did not know how everything was arranged there.
To my question, "how often do you have room cleaning in general?" they answered that "every 3 days." Naturally, no one changed the bed linen after 3 days of stay, or after a week of stay.
Another comical situation was when, at about 10 o'clock in the evening, the reception again asked for toilet paper, because it was not added to the room, the employees again looked round with horror and said that they could not help and that the main laundry service would start working only at 8 a.m. the next day.
I had to drag myself to the store after a whole day on my feet and buy paper on my own.
But then at 8 a.m. the next day, they started hammering into the room with all their might, trying to give out a roll of toilet paper that no one needed anymore.
It's just a circus with horses of some kind.
Breakfast at the hotel is a separate nightmare for the stomach: the food is over-salted, fatty, over-salted cheap sausages, instead of normal coffee in the coffee machine there was disgusting instant powdered caffeine a la Nescafe Classic Burnt, which could not be drunk, a strange mess called "omelette", the very sight of which could only make you sick.
The room itself is small, very tired and worn, without repair, with hair on the floor and dust in the corners.
The front door can neither be opened / closed without a bang, a separate minus is a heavy key, which each time had to be handed over when leaving the hotel in the morning, and then extracted back when returning in the evening.
The shower cabin is super cramped, the doors rattled when opening and closing and resisted any action so that there was a fear that they would fall off at some point.
The shower cabin was not cleaned at all, and on the 4th day the drain was also clogged.
And as the cherry on the cake, somewhere on the 4th day of stay at the hotel, repairs began, which was accompanied by the booming sounds of a jackhammer from 9 a.m.
I highly do not recommend this hotel.
We were in Minsk for the May holidays. At the Planeta Hotel. The hotel is not bad at all. The room has everything you need. Refrigerator, safe, telephone. In the bathroom they put mini accessories - soap, shampoo, gel. There are no slippers. Take yours. There is an air conditioner. In the morning, a good breakfast buffet. Quite diverse. The location of the hotel is good. Almost in the center of the city. There is a grocery store nearby. We were in nice restaurants with national cuisine. Everywhere they paid with the Mir card. Yandex taxi is working.
I do not recommend!!!
The old room stock.
Fungus in the shower stall, the doors of which are difficult to open and close, sealing rubber bands fall off. To enter the shower cabin, you need to lift your legs 60 cm. Part of the shower stall "eats up" the corner for sitting (who sits in the public shower?!) bulky, tall and people with 40-foot size and will no longer be able to wash properly.
Furniture with damaged coating in places. The dried parquet on the floor.
You will not find water, a teapot, tea/coffee in the room. Maximum cooler in the common corridor. So if you still risked booking a room here, then take care of the availability of water in the room in advance.
The breakfasts are meager and cold even if you arrive at 7 a.m. The omelet looks like it is made from egg powder, the pastry is dry, as if it has been lying for a long time (cookies do not count).
And the "cherry on the cake" - in your booking you will not find information about the surcharge for early check-in and even if you arrive around 12 p.m. You will immediately be issued, a key will be given, you will pay the amount indicated in the booking and only then you will be stunned by the fact that you also owe for an early check-in even if you did not ask for it!
By the way, this information is not available on the hotel's website either, or it is so hidden somewhere that it can only be found with the help of dogs or a mat!
We stayed at the Planeta Hotel from 18.06 to 21.06
Even before our arrival, we were "hospitably" greeted by phone when we decided to ask about early check-in, since we were with a small child and were ready to pay for early check-in: an older woman simply rudely refused us, did not listen to anything and HUNG up. Back then, everything was clear and it was possible not to even give the hotel a chance, but we had no choice in vain. Upon arrival at the reception, I asked why they were hanging up, but they didn't even apologize to us and didn't want to figure it out, they just said they didn't know who it could be (as if anyone could pick up the phone passing by the reception)
On another day, at the request to bring a kettle so that we could warm up the food for the child, we also did not react, we had to catch the maid herself and ask her about it (the maid reacted instantly)
Also, upon request to bring a cot or playpen to the room, I was told that "most likely" she was busy, without even bending her head to the computer to check this information. Well, apparently there is only one children's "place" for sleeping in the hotel, which is also strange for me, since the hotel is far from small
The rooms are normal, but old, toilet paper was rarely brought.
The room with a cooler on the floor has a terribly dirty floor, even dirtier than on the street.
Of course, the breakfast is wide, but the wrapped sandwiches look disgusting, to put it mildly, it is not clear why they should transfer the products and spoil their appetite, since every morning they lay untouched by the guests. There was either sour milk in the coffee, or the coffee itself was like that, but no one drank it either.
To sum up, I understand that this is a three-star hotel, but there are basic rules that are the same for all areas in which people are served. For example, for a hotel: when guests approach the reception and accommodation, you need to get up from your chair, pay attention, communicate somehow!
I have worked in different hotels of different levels myself and that is why I am writing all this. I don't recommend the hotel, it's a pity that I didn't take photos to attach here.
A hotel with a great location almost in the center of the city. Private free Parking, spacious enough. We stayed for 6 nights in a 2-room suite for three people. The room is clean. Daily cleaning service. Bathrobes, slippers, toiletries - everything is there. The buffet is quite varied, the breakfasts are hearty. Among the disadvantages: there is no balcony, the air conditioner in the living room and the refrigerator did not work. The refrigerator was replaced on day 2, the air conditioner could not be repaired.
The staff is polite and friendly.
The hotel is big. On the ground floor there is a place to drink coffee and a cafe, but the cafe is open from 11 to 15.00 on weekdays. Its own secured Parking, a cooler and an ironing board on the floors.Of the cons: periodically, one of the 4 elevators does not work. We took a suite for 5 nights. The room is clean, but everything is already tired. The linen is white, but with small holes, the robes are washed, but we did not use them. The bathroom requires special attention: it is small, there is mold between the tiles, and the bathtub is painted with paint and is already poorly washed. The room was cleaned every day. Well done girls! In general, it's not bad, but in some places repairs are already underway, which I would like to draw the attention of the owners.
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, liked everything, it was clean, there were just gorgeous girls and ladies at the reception, helped with check-in, picked up a room, advised where to eat and go shopping. It's 10 minutes to the metro, a little longer to the center, but everything is within walking distance.
We stayed for a couple of nights. We were not disappointed. It turned out that this hotel is almost in the very center of Minsk. It is a ten-minute walk to Nyamiga, five minutes to the park and Komsomol Lakes. Well, all the tourist places of Minsk are almost within walking distance. The hotel itself is quite comfortable, the staff is friendly. There is a paid guarded parking. But there are also free parking spaces nearby. The only thing I didn't really like was breakfast. Otherwise, it is a good choice for a tourist.
There were small joints, such as a bottle left by a previous guest, a clogged faucet in the bathroom through which water was barely running, a broken section of a folding sofa, the absence of one sheet on the first night. In general, this is nonsense. Nice atmosphere, especially in the restaurant where there were breakfasts. The variety of the buffet is not great, but everything is simple, but edible. Polite staff. Gorgeous view of the monument. It's not far to the center on foot.
A painful descent by elevator, almost every floor is slowed down by other guests, despite the fact that there are 4 elevators.
Can I recommend it) perhaps yes, if you are not very moody, for example, I would stay there again.
Once upon a time in the past, he was not very bad. But time is taking its toll. "Tired," but not without dignity.
One of the advantages is the location! It's just in a great place.
Of the minuses, it's just a terrible toilet room that needs urgent repairs. We lived in a suite on the 12th floor. The room itself is very comfortable, but the bathroom is something!
If you do not pay attention to this, then I can recommend you to stay!
We took a suite. From June 16 to 17, 2024.
Ordered 12 hours before arrival.
2 adults and 1 child of school age.
Of the advantages:
- city center;
- own private parking;
Minuses:
- the bed for the child is a cot that was not prepared for our arrival, although we said we would be late;
- shabby condos;
- the door to the room barely opens;
- mini bar in the photo (or rather the absence of it);
- the terrible condition of the bathroom;
- the bathroom is generally a throwback to the 90s, and it's in the suite;
- the overall condition and renovation in the room is depressing;
- you need to wait well for warm water before it spills out of the shower;
- toilet paper is visible in the light;
- the total cost for the above-listed "pleasures";
The rest can be viewed in the photo.
We lived on the 5th floor, the room was very decent. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Very close to the shopping center "Gallery" and the Museum of the History of the war.
Excellent location, the very center, for those who go for a walk in Minsk it will be convenient, the breakfasts are hearty, you will not leave hungry for sure
A budget hotel with a taste of the late USSR. Breakfast leaves much to be desired. The shower cabin in the room is leaking. Convenient location. Two sets of elevators: old and new. Elevators are called from different buttons. The old elevators move much faster than the new ones.
