An interesting hotel, located in the center. It is easy to get to the subway. I recommend taking a suite right away, the usual rooms are tired. The price is acceptable
The bed creaks, the pillows are disgusting, like cotton wool inside. They don't tell anything at the reception when checking in, everything needs to be "pulled with ticks", they don't say hello, they don't smile, very unfriendly staff! We learned a lot more from the bar staff than from those who had to provide all the information! Don't set foot on you anymore! Why was the review rejected? Because it's negative?
Very nice hotel with cozy rooms.
Thank you very much to the employee who was at the restaurant on October 15 in the morning. They allowed me to have breakfast after 10:00, when the buffet itself is open until 10:00.
We are now waiting for her to visit Ufa 😉
If you don't know where to go in Minsk, the reception will tell you 👍🏼
I visited the Planeta Hotel for the first time in 2018. Since then, every year, when I come from Moscow to Minsk, I stay only in it.
Since then, the interior has become much more cozy, and the room stock is more modern.
The style is reminiscent of the Soviet Union: a monumental building, tall columns, spacious halls, carpeted paths and massive wooden doors. At the same time, the rooms are very comfortable and have a beautiful view of the park (not from all rooms, though).
The reception staff is very friendly.
Payment with a MIR card from Sberbank is no problem. There is also an ATM for cash withdrawal.
The food at the hotel is not to say that it is chic and cheap, but if you do not want to look for a place to have breakfast, then I recommend doing it at the hotel. It takes 15-20 minutes to get to the nearest cafes where you can have breakfast.
As a car tourist, I am very pleased with the huge free (for hotel guests) guarded parking lot.
The hotel is very conveniently located: within walking distance there is a huge park where you can walk or ride an electric scooter. The old part, the town hall and a lot of cozy cafes are 15 minutes away.
For those who do not expect any unrealistic 5* comfort from the hotel, I would recommend the Planet. Clean, cozy, inexpensive.
A standard 3-star hotel. Everything is very simple. I rented a single room. The room has everything you need. A 20-minute walk from the City Hall. And if the windows would have faced Pobediteley Avenue, then it would have been great, and so the windows of my room faced the courtyard. Well, I still recommend this hotel.
It's time to change the furniture, the buffet and the decoration of the restaurant where breakfast is held too. Thanks to the girls at the reception, they are very well received, they are the best 🍀🤗
I stayed in a single room on the 8th floor. The view from the window to the river, the Museum of Military Glory, is very beautiful. The furniture set is standard, the mattress is comfortable, towels are changed every day. Clean, cozy
To be honest, the level does not match the price per room. One of the advantages is the proximity to the center, and the metro is not far away. Unfortunately, there are many disadvantages. The refrigerator in the room is not cold. The battery did not turn on from the remote control, and when the electrician changed the batteries, it did not cool down, the freon leaked out. The cooler in the hallway faucet is not working. The shower siphon is clogged, when taking a shower you stand ankle-deep in water, and after that there is a puddle of water on the tile. Soap and shampoo are the cheapest. The breakfast table is too primitive. 2 types of side dish, cucumber-tomato, fried eggs-sausages, some baking, and that's it. Such a hotel should cost 100-120 rubles per day with breakfast, no more. Such disappointing conclusions.
We lived on the Planet from August 1st to 7th. I liked everything: the location, the lobby, the room, the restaurant. I put a minus for the work of the maids. We could come in without knocking (during our stay in the room) to change towels or take out the trash. The maids also had loud conversations on personal topics right outside the room door during our vacation. My comment was answered that there was nothing wrong with that and it was a working moment. There was no apology, alas.
The hotel is located in a very convenient location, has its own parking in a fenced area, a restaurant, an ATM is located on the territory of the hotel, nice spacious rooms. But the advantages end there. Although the hotel has three stars, it is no longer up to them.
Cons: Let's start with parking in front of the hotel for check-in. There are no normal signs, traffic is blocked, the passage to the hotel itself is blocked by a sign 3.1., and there are a lot of cars there. I had to drive the car into a dead end, blocking the exit to other drivers and leaving a mobile phone number on the windshield. Fortunately, no one called during the check-in, then calmly drove the car to the courtyard parking lot.
The plumbing is leaking, the taps need to be turned all the way (my wife did not have enough strength, and the administration did not hear about the ceramic faucet boxes). The air conditioner works like a regular fan and it is too hot in the room during the day and very stuffy at night, although the settings have a cooling mode of up to 18 degrees. As a result, it was comfortable to stay in the room only at night, with the window fully open. It was not critical for us, as we had been walking all day. There is a refrigerator, but it does not cool. Of course, the temperature in it was below room temperature, but above 20 degrees and, accordingly, it was impossible to put food requiring cooling in it. This was already an ambush, so I had to look for a store to buy sweets for presents upon leaving the hotel. Television: 1 Russian, 2 Belarusian and 3 foreign channels. But the cherry on the cake was the cleaning of the room, which is inexcusable for a hotel declared as three stars. The cleaning was done somehow, and the bed was not made at all. They didn't even touch her. Hotels without stars did not allow themselves to do this. Apparently, the cleaner decided that the customers would sleep for 2 nights and that would do.
I'm staying at this hotel for the second time, but five years ago there were no such joints. Whether I will stay in it for the third time, I will leave the question open for myself. Of course, it was possible to go to the hotel administrator to quarrel, but we decided not to spoil our nerves.
Will I advise others to stay at this hotel, probably not. At least until the administration takes care of eliminating all the shortcomings.
A good hotel, clean, cozy, there is a minus creaky extra bed (sofa bed), and the view from the windows is awesome, plus free Parking, minus an expensive breakfast.
Parking is too small, the entrance is too long,
There is paid parking!
There is a cafe-dining room and a coffee island on the ground floor, a restaurant on the second floor.
Convenient elevators. 4 pcs
The staff is pleasant and courteous.
I visited the spa cabin (stone massage) and was pleasantly surprised, everything was neat and clean)nice girl master ) the master is friendly )everything was very good)I put 4 * only because, so as not to relax and move forward and only forward
Not a bad hotel.
There is a cooler on the floor.
There is an opportunity to open a window in the room, but there is also an air conditioner, although we did not try to use it.
The room is small but cozy.
Minus - there was no refrigerator in the room and the shower was flowing.
This is a real old school. The doors, the parkas, the carpets are heavier. It is clean, friendly, there are often available rooms, and this is a huge plus for Minsk.
To be honest, I did not expect that such hotels still exist.. the staff is pleasant and friendly, the advantages end there. Especially terrible shower stalls, all in black and even with a hole at the bottom (1205), taps whistling, with a fan of spray on the wall, in general, I did not want to go into this bath.. as well as all my colleagues on the same floor in their rooms. The room itself is bright, the view from the window is towards the 90s. The bar closes early, so you can't buy water after 11, but the cooler on the floor saves you.
We liked it. However, it is far from the food place on foot. We went to the mall. But the view from the window of the central Museum of the Great Patriotic War is very beautiful. The staff is friendly. We checked in ahead of time, we also left later, we made a late check-out. The rooms are clean. The linen is fresh. The room is cozy. We liked everything. If we are in Minsk, we will stop here. Thanks for the comfort.
Good view, low cost, convenient location. There is a guarded parking lot. We have breakfast, but we haven't tried it. The rooms themselves are old and simple, but they didn't suit me. I recommend.

We visited this hotel in January 2025. To be honest, it's not even 3 stars. The hotel is very old, the rooms are not renovated. The furniture is dilapidated. Room cleaning leaves much to be desired, one day even the garbage could not be taken out of the room, I had to pack it myself and take it to the technical room.… In general, the impression is that the hotel is abandoned and they are not being used ... I do not recommend it.…
An ordinary Soviet hotel, rooms with 2 beds. We lived on the 11th floor, it blew through the window in winter. The location is very good, beautiful view from the window. Free parking, which is a plus.

What's good: it's not noisy, the room has a mini fridge, a hair dryer, and a fairly convenient location. What's bad: the lamp on the bedside table did not work, cold water could not be turned on, but only used relatively hot, drain cold water from the hot tap for about 20 minutes, categorically not a comfortable shower room, no matter how you pressed against the wall and closed the curtain, but the floor would be flooded with water, and wipe only with a towel which then needs to be dried on something. The heated towel rail is hot only while the hot water is running. There was a water cooler, but only on 3 floors, out of 4 elevators, 2 do not always work, and the crowd for breakfast and check-in is large. Room cleaning is normal, but the towels are already very gray. The windows are dirty and there is a lot of wind blowing out of them. Curtains should also be washed at least once a year. According to the food, it is edible, in principle, you can find something that you can eat. The omelet is normal, the sausages are too, but the pancakes are not tasty, the porridge was generally terrible.
The semi-hamish attitude of the staff - but for the Republic of Belarus this is the norm in principle, it was not surprising.
Somewhere half-decent - that is, the market price is even higher than the market, and the attitude is Soviet, in a bad aspect.
They don't book - even a super suite and even for an hour - you'll get there - well, you won't have time - well, okay!!!
Dressing table, folding beds for children, a 3-meter table, dishes on the shelves - greetings from the old days)))
The plumbing is not bad - for 4.
There is Parking - especially unguarded. There's probably security, but we haven't seen it.
With food, we didn't risk it, we had breakfast on the side.
The lobby is clean and low-smoking.
We were at the hotel with an infant, we liked everything. There is a high chair in the restaurant (the hotel was selected according to this principle). The breakfast buffet is quite varied. The room is clean, the staff is friendly and friendly, all requests were not ignored.
The hotel itself is located in the center, there is a shopping center, pharmacy and shops nearby.
The hotel is terrible, it stinks, everything is old, broken, the shower is all in mold, the water does not go away. Even for one night, the mood was spoiled
The main advantages: always availability of rooms, low cost of living, dining room on the ground floor, free huge Parking.
Cons: I would not call it cons (norms at this price) - a hotel from the Soviet past, starting from the decoration of the rooms and "killer" key rings, ending with waitresses from the restaurant.
I read the reviews and understand that they are custom-made!
The rooms are old, everything is falling apart! The air conditioners are not working!
The only advantage is the location of the hotel!
All this can be confirmed by the reception staff and electricians!!
Personal opinion, after spending 5 days, 4 nights.
+
Location.
Carefully.
Overall clean
-
The bed creaked.
Breakfast is poor and monotonous.
They asked to wash the toilet and the sink and they did not wash it all the days.
It pulls on its 3 stars. The room was taken as a double room with two double beds. Everything you need is there. Linen and towels are white, no complaints! The air conditioner is old, I don't know if it's working (we arrived at the end of March, we froze one night). A huge disadvantage is narrow wardrobes, and only hangers (it's already cramped for two in winter), there are no shelves (((
The TV is blinking, there is no kettle. Water is not brought to the rooms. There is a cooler on almost every floor, but the water often runs out and there is no hot water (either it does not have time to heat up, or it is faulty, I went around 4 floors before pouring). There are no refrigerators in many rooms (we came as a large team), although a place for them is planned. The alarm clock radio on the bedside table is not working, why???
The rooms came to be cleaned daily, but only the garbage was taken out, towels were checked and hygiene was reported (shampoo, gel, cap and soap, there is no dental kit). The beds were not cleaned. Two-room rooms are more comfortable! They also have a larger bathtub, a bathroom instead of a cabin. A baby cot is provided free of charge upon request.
From the upper floors there is a beautiful view of the po.Winners. Within walking distance of shops, cafes, a shopping center, a Military Historical Museum, a river, the whole center is almost)))
The halls are pleasantly decorated.
I was ironing on the floor.
We had breakfast included (buffet). Scrambled eggs, omelette, yoghurts, cereals +milk, sausages, sliced cheese/sausage/carbonate, pudding/cottage cheese casserole, potatoes + rustic, chicken, salads and vegetables, toasts, butter, jams. 2 coffee machines (delicious coffee), juices, tea, water. There is no baking!!!! There are no fruits either.
The tables are cleaned quickly.
At the reception, the staff tries to quickly check in and resolve issues.
There is a lobby bar near the reception.
Great huge conference room!!! I don't know about fitness, we didn't go. There is a souvenir shop.
There is no pool.
4 elevators is very cool!!!! And they move fast!
The hotel is pleasant, clean and cozy, the rooms are small, the staff is friendly. the only thing I didn't like was the arrangement of the beds in our double room, when one person's feet are lying next to the other's head. But a small rearrangement solved this problem)))
the hotel may be nothing, especially if by car, there is a place to put it, but everything is a bit Soviet, there is a weight on the key so that they do not take it away :) it seems to be close to the center and it seems that by the time you get there, you are already tired. In general, 4 out of 5 points.
Convenient booking without prepayment (others did not agree so). Quick check-in, before 14.00. Clean is always perfect, the room is well maintained, the furniture is good / linen is boiled white, bathrobes, etc. There is a feeling of kindness and hospitality to everyone
Good, helpful staff, clean room, but the refrigerator in the room does not work, the cooler on the floor gives out only cold water, does not give out hot water, you need to go to other floors, look for coffee or tea, my opinion is a little expensive for 124 Belarusian rubles, about 4000 Russian, draw your own conclusions, you need whether it is or not.
