After 3 requests, an iron appeared in the room. But the board did not materialize for 3 days of stay.

Very atmospheric indoor "courtyard", entourage, pleasant staff, but does not correspond to 5 stars ... but they try, but not much ;) There should be guests on the chill, but not the staff! I put a solid 4, but more - sorry!.. Oh, the bed is good - mattress and linen! This is for 5!

The room was not cleaned. Only after the call. The number is dead. It is very old and everything is asking for repairs. The room temperature is not regulated. About the spa now. In general, it's OK, but everything is also very tired, I've never seen this anywhere. I've been staying at the hotel for a month, so I have something to say.
The lobby is luxurious: many beautiful and comfortable areas for relaxation / negotiations; very pleased with live plants; in general, it is expensive and impressive.
Rooms: first, they settled in a terribly smoky room (and on the floor where there are non-smoking rooms) with a view of a noisy street (although initially I asked to give me a room with a view of the square); moreover, I repeatedly heard complaints from other guests about smoky rooms on the same floor. After the request, the room was changed, but in principle, unexpectedly faced with such a situation in 2023 in a 5 * hotel.
The room has a comfortable bed; the view is excellent; the furniture and repairs are tired; the refrigerator is barely working; the drawers in the closet without closers, so they knock very loudly if you forget to hold it; when checking in in the shower cabin, there was already a fallen side, so the shower leaked (the cleaners did not notice it at point blank range, only after contacting the reception side they glued it, but it didn't really help). Low-quality instant coffee and powdered milk somehow do not correspond to 5*.
The quality of cleaning is without any complaints.
Breakfast: in general, it's not bad, but we were unpleasantly surprised by very sluggish waiters who ignore untidy and unserved tables at a fairly low load. Every other time, I had to bring the missing appliances to myself, since often the waiters could not be reached. Rotten cherries, poorly washed fruits were often found, and the products that ended up on the buffet were slowly replenished.
Spa: everything is great (beautiful and sparsely populated, friendly staff), it's a pity that there is no Jacuzzi.
Additional comments: the umbrella is given to residents only for a deposit of 10k tenge (well, it takes 10 minutes to complete) - somehow petty, considering that you have all the data of the residents and so on.
The hotel still cannot fully join the Accor ALL program (1.5 months ago, now everyone is joining, although Almaty has been listed on the Accor Rixos website for a long time). They also could not offer any alternative schemes for accumulating bonuses. It's amazing for a chain hotel where other hotels are in the program, but for some reason this one is not.
In general, the impression is contradictory. In itself, I liked the stay, the location of the hotel is excellent, the lobby is very beautiful, but, in my opinion, the above-mentioned jambs in a chain hotel of this class and cost should not be in principle. So for this money and expectations - only 3 points.
Well, it does not pull at the declared premium in any way because of the number of rooms and some, so to speak, "services". For example, the wildest refusal to use the refrigerator, since there is a minibar in it and they refuse to temporarily empty it. Pay a deposit of 100 thousand tenge and nothing else. This has never been seen anywhere else. Shabby curtains with revealing holes. The plumbing is working, but there is no lid with a designation, then the inscription is simply unreadable. Replace-the price of the penny issue. The carpet in the rooms and corridors has not seen dry cleaning for a very long time. You won't ask for cleaning in the rooms, and if they do, then blunder. Dust on the glass shelves.see the attached photos. There are only 2 towels in the room, a bath towel and a small one. The light in the rooms is dim. Cosmetic kits are replenished as they want and not always, for example, they will add a toothbrush with toothpaste. But there are also advantages - very polite staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Delicious buffet breakfasts and a large selection of food. Everything is fresh and selected. In summary, the price is too high if you stay in private. There are a lot of corporate clients from different companies, which is probably why the price is so high.
Everything is great, pleasant staff, beautiful view, convenient location, delicious cuisine. There was one downside. Apparently, I came across an unsuccessful room in which the drain in the shower does not work as it should be correctly and when I arrived at the room there was an unpleasant smell of standing water in the room.
