The hotel is not worth the money that is being asked for it .
If you are not aware yet , the hotel has changed its concept . Now it is not a party hotel with good service, but an ordinary Turkish five, focused on family holidays with children
If you are going there without children , then I recommend looking at other options , but if you are flying with children , then of course the hotel will come to you . The Rixy club is gorgeous .

A coach from the World class! if it weren 't for these guys , the hotel would be completely despondent . They make a real show out of simple workouts

This particular Rixos was specially chosen for recreation, as it should be a party place, with colorful shows and excellent entertainment for adults. And at the same time stay at the level of all other hotels in the chain in terms of service.
But...We were completely disappointed.
- All the shows are either live music near the Lotus Bar with a rather mediocre performance (the same as in hotels below the level by an order of magnitude with a price tag of 50% less).
- The performances at the main Alara arena also did not make any impression
- During the day there is no entertainment at all, there is no animation team, no music, nothing. The only thing they entertained themselves with was volleyball for 2-2.5 hours.
- I got tired of the disco on the third day with permanent resident DJ Jean Marin. It felt like the same set was playing all day long. Also, sometimes there was too much with Turkish tracks. All this lasted only until one o'clock in the morning, and then go entertain yourself with Bluetooth speakers at the tables.
- At the bar, you have to constantly say that you need imported drinks. If you turn away, it will pour Turkish. I had to ask again to make a cocktail from normal ingredients. The previous one was poured out. Therefore, my advice is not to order from the waiters, go to the bar yourself.
- We visited three Ala carte restaurants (Greek, Mexican, Chinese). In the end, only the free Mexican came in. The rest are not worth attention at all. Maybe except for shrimp in sweet and sour sauce in a Chinese restaurant.
- The main restaurant is now more suitable for the name dining room. For rixos, it is a failure, a meager and monotonous diet. A couple of years ago, for example, riksos tekirova was much better.
- The territory itself is very poorly lit at night, I think, also due to economy.
- The number didn't come in at all. According to the description, there was a room after renovation and 38 m2 - called Comfort. In fact, apparently, 20 m2 of them is a terrace. There are also two single beds. They dragged a long narrow jumper to insert between the mattresses - it was funny to look at this slide. The next day we changed the room to a superior, it wasn't exactly fantastic, but it was better. At least a normal double bed, a full-length mirror and not a narrow corridor.
I think the only thing that's really cool here now is the rixy club. It is very big, the children are clearly better off here than the adults. And we're not coming here anymore.
It is better to consider the same Rixos in Belek.

We have renovated and opened a bar and restaurant complex with a new swimming pool. It has become expensive and there are fewer of us. There are a lot of people. But the attitude of foreigners towards us has become very respectful.

This is a very, very average hotel for the money they charge.
We spent a lot of time in Rixos, but not in Sungate. I really regret choosing him this time. This year, we were amazed at the sagging level of Rixos service.
I have no special requests, but the room cleaning made an impression. I had to run, call and ask to bring shampoo, then a dental kit, then bathrobes.
Dressing gowns are generally a joke. I ended up spitting after 6 (!) requests to have my robes brought to me. These were calls from my side, communication with the cleaning service and visits to the reception.
The food is not bad, tasty, varied, but a lot of fried sunflower oil. Just like me. Therefore, it seems that this is not useful. If it's fries, then the butter is already dripping off the potatoes. If fried eggs or omelets are fried, they float in oil.
And one cook told me that yes, what is not fried in sunflower oil is fried in margarine. Margarine, God forgive me. 5 star hotel, Rixos.
Very poor and strange animation. There are only 3 children's shows per week. It used to be every day in Rixos, and that's what we went for. Children love it. Let's go to the adult. Endless uninteresting dancing. The animation level has dropped a lot.
The sea is beautiful, but there are no wooden decking on the beach, you drag yourself and the children along the hot sand.
But the Diamond concept is nearby. In their houses, you can see dressing gowns through the windows, I laughed)) they have decking on the beach.
And at the lowest special price, we were offered the diamond concept for 8000 euros. And? Plus the million we paid.
The kids' club is good, the girls are great, the pools are good, especially the far one with excellent waiters.
And excellent views. The mountains are amazing.
Rixos is a disappointment for us this year. I don't recommend it. If you are used to the level. He's not here.

Rixos hotel is better, respectively, I did not think that there would be such a setup with the beach. Either they have such sand all covered in stones, or it has been washed since the beginning of the season and it has not been imported anymore.... The huge coast of this hotel is all in pebbles. If you go in for a long time, the fish begin to bite ... as a result, somewhere they found a small piece where there are not so many stones and they went in quickly and immediately swim 😶
Among the advantages is a new gym, a children's area, a good main stage and a large territory. Without loud drunken companies, everything is decent.
Almost everyone comes there with children and you don't get tired of children, since 1/4 of the hotel is a children's city, and the hotel is just huge. So big that sometimes you walk in the evening and feel deserted, although in fact all the rooms are occupied. Servicing such a hotel is expensive, of course, but darkness in the corridors and poor lighting on the street .... Strange but not critical

One of my favorite hotels. I've been there many times, and every vacation was good in its own way. It is always fun and sincere.
The staff knows and remembers their regular guests, which is very nice.
We always rented sun beds on the pier. It's not cheap, but it's worth it: the audience is decent and there are few people. Descent into the sea immediately to the depth from the pier: no need to go over the pebbles, it is very convenient. In general, if possible, I recommend renting sunbeds on the VIP pier. Fruits and other snacks are also brought there, and everything is beautifully served. It pleases the eye.
The food in the main restaurant is delicious, the choice is huge. There are a lot of desserts.
I've also been to all the a la carte restaurants. I like Italian: very atmospheric and cute rest, which is perfect for a romantic dinner.
Famous Russian performers often perform at the hotel.
It is standard for Timati and his team, Loboda, Basta, etc. A really high-quality show with fireworks and lighting effects, especially for Mayfest and the closing of the season.
The hotel has a really great World Class gym, large and well equipped. The coaches are competent, nice guys. Various group training sessions are held all day.
In the morning, you can ride boots: every morning the coach gathers a group. The duration of the lesson is 1 hour. I highly recommend it.
There are a lot of different activities for kids. In the summer, our famous football players conduct classes for children.
There are jet skis, catapult-type attractions.

Room and cleanliness - well, that) I was told that I was settled in a new building, built in 2022 - well, if that's the case, I'm afraid to even imagine that in the old one. The room is small, dark and uncomfortable. I have never lived in such a bad room of the riskos network. Swearing and changing the number, waiting and watching the same miserable numbers, I had no strength)
Previously, there were refrigerators with water and drinks on site. Then at least there were drinks in cans on the bar - Cola, fanta and others. Now there is even a tap cola on the main pool bar…
After you have drunk something from the mini-bar in the room - for example, a can of beer or Cola, they are not replenished) you have to call…
The food - well, it gets worse and worse every time... the same thing, and not to say that it's delicious. Very usual. Previously, there were divine tortillas in the cafe on the beach - and they disappeared. On the 2nd floor - a very bad choice, on the 3rd floor more or less. But if you come to dinner around 8 pm ... then you will walk like a fool for 10-15 minutes and look for a free table, then you will bring your own appliances, pour water and enjoy it)
the cherry on the cake is when you eat - a child without panties can run next to you, or some family will put their stroller with a diaper next to your table, and not with their own…

The hotel is huge, the renovation is not new, but clean. They try, they wash the paths, they sweep in the main restaurant, but the carpet in the children's house (where the slides are) is dirty.
Children's animation is good, the main thing is not to be lazy and sign up for various master classes. We get cool crafts made of wood, clay, and drawings.
The bar by the main pool is a dirty counter, a lot of people pass by and it is not wiped.
There is one THING: first, my husband and I ate shrimp for dinner - poisoning (diarrhea, vomiting). And my husband only ate shrimp!
You only meet a lot of people in the main restaurant! I didn't like that the soups there weren't tasty. For example, chicken soup is white, in my opinion they do not know how to cook soups, so we went to a children's cafe, where there are 3 soup options to choose from and at least some children chose.
On the eve of departure, the eldest son caught some kind of virus: vomiting every hour on the day of departure. The day before, we contacted about a late check-out, but the communication was formal. Only 1 girl from the reception (out of three people) said that it was necessary to come on the day of departure and if the usual rooms were available, then you could pay 20 dollars / hour and extend, but another room (the simplest). So when they came shouting that the child was ill, it was only then that somehow we were allowed to stay in our room until 18:00. By the way, when he heard our screams, a German came up, who also reported nausea.
In general, the hotel is good, they manage, except for some nuances :
1. Poisoned in the main restaurant
2. Room cleaning for three (even dollars don't help)
3. Virus (take care of yourself!!! Because after my son, my youngest daughter and I were hooked ((((

The room is dirty, there is a lot of garbage on the floor, the whole balcony is built up with birds. You can't hang clothes or sit on chairs. It seems that they have never washed it this season. The hotel has changed completely!!!! We changed the concept unilaterally to a completely family one without notifying the tour operators. Rixos has signed an agreement with Tui (Great Britain). The hotel has tourists from the UK (60%), from Kazakhstan (30%), and 10% Russians. There are no more parties, lights out at one in the morning. The service has decreased by 2 times. No one else will bother with anything. From Rixos, the hotel has turned into an ordinary Turkish 5 with a minus even. What to say if in a restaurant (dining room) There are no wet wipes. There are just no words, for this money that we paid this year, it's a complete game. Also, the hotel itself does not respond to requests that you write to them on the website through feedback.

Not a restaurant, but a creepy dining room, where it constantly stinks of sourness from some food, tables are never covered with a tablecloth, only dirty reusable napkins on which cutlery is placed. All the Pools are terribly cold, despite the fact that we were already unlucky with the weather.The hotel is not operating at full capacity, as if it is December, not June.The rixy club also does not have a rope park or a cooking class. We are just in hell, we want to escape from here. I will arrange an insurance case in connection with the poisoning of a child, and leave the hotel ahead of time - demanding compensation!

Be very careful when choosing this hotel for your vacation. We have read reviews that in previous years it was a party hotel designed for an active audience. Since the summer of 2022, it has been positioned as a purely family one. Based on the results of our stay, we make an unequivocal conclusion that this hotel is 100% aimed at a young audience and their accompanying adults. I think this is the most correct definition for the current status of the hotel.
Now a little more about our perception of the hotel and its proposed concept of recreation.
It takes about an hour to get from the airport to the hotel. Traffic through Antalya, the suburbs, a couple of tunnels in the mountainous area and the village of Beldibi, where, in fact, the hotel itself is located. The village stretches along the coast, and the entire coastline is formed by hotels of different levels. Rixos Sangate is located at the end of the village, at a decent distance from the main walking and shopping areas. Some cafes and shops near the hotel, of course, are present, but outwardly they look very rustic and certainly do not cause a desire to visit them. A regular bus to Antalya runs past the hotel, the fare for which to the first large shopping center is 1.5 Euros. A taxi on this route will cost 30-40 Euros. For lovers of outdoor activities, history and shopping, Antalya is a must-visit).
About the hotel. We had a rest in the middle of August 2022 together with my wife (our age is 45-50 years old). The flight was overnight, we arrived at the hotel around 8 o'clock in the morning. The reception staff speaks Russian/ English, there were no problems with communication. We were offered a room "after renovation" in the "far building" of the hotel (10-12 minutes walk to the main restaurant). We were predicted to check in at 11 a.m., which smoothly, after repeated calls to the reception, was postponed to 14 o'clock. They apologized and justified everything by the lack of normal communication between the reception and the room service. We had breakfast while waiting, and then enjoyed a wonderful Turkish coffee in the lobby bar next to the reception. Here they also noted the first feature of the hotel, when vacationers en masse pass to (from) the pools, to the beach and to the main restaurant through the reception area, tables of travel consultants and the lobby bar. Accordingly, a certain chaos arises from people who have just arrived and are tired of a long journey, guests waiting for background information at the tables of consultants, with the public in swimsuits, with swimming mattresses and circles. They noted the lack of access control to the lobby bar of the public in swimming trunks / swimsuits, after which many visitors have to sit on wet sofas, which clearly does not add to the comfortable sensations.
Our room turned out to be on the last, fifth floor, in the building adjacent to the Family Lake House. Externally, a very pleasant room in dark colors, with a loggia decorated with wood. Everything is new, in a modern style, high-quality, clean. In the "renovation" room, however, there was a large black "snot" torn seal of the glass door of the loggia, but we decided not to notice this misunderstanding. The view from the window is wonderful - the sea and the pines. There is silence all around. Two wide beds were moved independently. The room bar consists of two parts - free (water, beer, drinks) and paid (chocolate, snacks, chips, sun protection, etc.). On TV, Russians are invited to watch the Euronews news channel, where events are covered from the point of view of our Western "partners". There are no Russian information channels. There are still some two channels where there is a wild religious (not Orthodox) hodgepodge, a TV store and Russian TV series.
Cleaning the room, despite the daily tips, raised periodic questions. So, the balcony has not been washed once, even the ashtray has not been changed in five days. The room itself was sometimes insufficiently vacuumed – there was sand and small pebbles. Towels were changed daily, bed linen every three days. Traditionally, high-quality hygiene and cosmetics products for Rixos are always in abundance.
The bar was replenished daily. By the middle of our stay, we stopped putting local, very pleasant-tasting, mineral water in the refrigerator. We did not investigate the reason.
The area of the hotel is large, clean, interestingly planned, and there are many walking areas. Vast green areas where pine trees overhang the soft greenery of lawns and where you really want to linger on a comfortable sun lounger or just lie on the grass. There are many sports grounds for fans of volleyball, football, basketball, and lawn tennis. There is something like a children's football academy with good coaches, smart uniforms, competitions, fans, photographers. The World Class Sports area offers active physical programs to hotel guests throughout the day. The main part of the public pools is concentrated in the central area of the hotel. Rows of sun loungers are installed tightly around the perimeter of the pools, gazebos or round upholstered sofas in some places. As a rule, all the places nearby the pools are occupied, so the sunbathing public moves to the green area adjacent to the pools. The total mirror area of the pools is quite large, but due to the ubiquitous noisy kids, we could not leave the feeling that they were overcrowded. Separately, it should be noted the amazing RIXY children's territory, which includes a large water park, playgrounds and sports grounds, a children's theater, a lot of other entertainment areas and buildings where parents can give the children early in the morning and pick them up late at night. Unfortunately, there are no areas for privacy, relaxation/chilling for adult hotel guests, which is very frustrating. In the evenings, you could look for some kind of relaxation in the far bar at the Fantasy Pool, but even there, there was often a children's fuss.
Traditionally, a significant part of the representatives of the former socialist camp prefer seawater to pools. The hotel, in turn, does everything possible to discourage you from this desire. The beaches in Sungate are a disaster, friends! Stones. Big, small, sharp, slippery. They are at the entrance, they are at the depth. You are guaranteed to break your feet, knees. It is absolutely impossible to understand why the hotel will not clean the coastal strip from the most critical stones or at least make some ordinary plastic pontoons to enter the water. Actually, the service at the seaside of the hotel is significantly different from the service at the pools, it simply does not exist.
We didn't notice any problems with the choice of sun loungers. There is always a choice by the pools, by the sea, and under the pines on the grass. Of course, there are a lot of vacationers who throw their belongings on deck chairs in two or three locations, but the beach boys are trying to deal with these. Here, as they used to say, conscience is the best controller. At the same time, I will pay tribute to our compatriots, we have more conscience, culture and cleanliness than representatives of many Western European countries, especially from the foggy Albion.
It is necessary to mention the contingent. It is different. At the time of our arrival (early August), we were told that thirty percent were Russians, the same number of Kazakhstanis, slightly fewer British, Arabs, the rest of the countries were evenly represented and did not stand out by their presence. There were no interethnic conflicts – the people were adequate, but from different social groups and different cultures, which, first of all, was evidenced by behavior in public places.
The cuisine of the main restaurants of the hotel is always varied, fresh and suitable to the taste of the overwhelming number of vacationers. At the same time, I note that the menu is formed from seasonal products that are typical for Turkey. Those who are looking for exotic things like mangoes, pineapples and papayas are unlikely to be satisfied. But strawberries, figs, watermelons, melons, apples and pears, a variety of seafood, fish, all kinds of cheese, meat and poultry will always satisfy your appetite. Quite a decent selection of local wine. Minimal knowledge of the language, a sincere smile and a small financial gratitude will help you quickly find a language with the service staff and, rest assured, you will always be offered good places, recommend decent wine, and provide the most comfortable service. We have not witnessed any poisoning, conflicts, lack of places in restaurants and other negative events that hotel visitors occasionally describe in their reviews. Our impression is absolutely positive, and we even refused to visit other La carte restaurants, as we were absolutely satisfied with the quality of the main ones.
Good alcohol in the hotel bars is roulette or quest, – your choice. In the same bar, you can be served a cocktail of completely different quality, taste and design. At the same time, the final result does not depend on the size of your tip. Therefore, either rely on "maybe", or track exactly the bartender who makes a high-quality cocktail and already communicate with him directly, bypassing the waiters. If you want to order an original alcoholic drink, then you need to accurately understand its reference taste, look at which bottle is poured for you and be generous with tips to the bartender. Personally, I was quite satisfied with the quality of the Chivas at the Fantasy Pool bar.
The hotel's entertainment programs have not yet stabilized, they have all the signs of the last party period, therefore they do not fall into the new family format. On the second day of our arrival, Egor Creed performed. His concert started at 22:00, but from 19:00 at each of the four to five dozen tables designed for four to six people, there was exactly one Kazakh /Russian kinder up to 10 years old, who clearly demonstrated the reservation of this table for their older generation. Egor's show was amazing, but almost incomprehensible to anyone who did not have Russian citizenship or at least the age of 15+. And there were an overwhelming majority of them. For this reason, Egor failed to ignite the audience, which is why he quite clearly "faked" all those present during the hour and a half performance. In the following days, the shows were no less bright and musical, but, again, designed for a different target audience, who had to beat in dance ecstasy, and not stand with strollers, children's toys and bells around the perimeter of the dance floor.
The last day of our stay was completely ruined by the presentation of claims to us about damage to property in the room. We cruised smoothly for two hours between five hotel managers, waiting for the details of the claims. In the end, we were told that the maid had mixed up the rooms and there were no complaints against us. At the same time, no one has offered absolutely no, even minimal, apologies, not to mention the offer of some kind of moral compensation. Given this fact, I strongly advise everyone coming to the hotel to carefully fix all the flaws in the room, so that later, on the day of departure, unpleasant surprises do not await you.
In the dry balance, the advantages:
+ A comfortable large hotel for families with children. Children under 10 years old, I'm sure, will be just delighted;
+ Good rooms "after renovation";
+ Wonderful cuisine, numerous restaurants of various national cuisines;
+ Lots of sports, lots of pools;
+ Interesting evening shows for those who are 16+;
+ Wonderful children's territory “RIXY”;
Minuses:
- Entrance/exit from the sea;
- No rest areas 16+;
- Quality of room cleaning, quality of service in bars, quality of service in the beach area;
- Visible imbalance in the interaction of reception and service services.
It is important to note that this RIXOS is significantly different from other RIXOS hotels, where comfort and service for an adult are a priority. The main focus here is on families with children under 12 years old. It is very important to take this into account for tourists who expect the usual Rix format from the Sangate, especially if there is a comparison with RIXOS Premium
