A gorgeous green area, renovated rooms, decent alcohol, friendly and attentive staff, an excellent children's club and wonderful evening programs... definitely a hotel worthy of its money
Great hotel. Great animation for kids. Delicious food. A huge territory. The rooms are clean. There are many pools. You won't be bored. There is also a water park.
A review about a vacation at the Diamond Club (we were on autumn holidays 2021), I think many people are wondering whether it is worth overpaying. And at the bottom of the review is a comparison with MaxxRoyal (main building), because both hotels are relatively expensive and family-run.
The Diamond Club is a hotel inside the hotel – more comfort and use of the infrastructure of the entire hotel. It is a ring of about 30 rooms with its own restaurant and a pool shared by the rooms inside.
The room without cots and sofas can accommodate four adults and two children. The room consists of 4 levels (townhouse or duplex type), 1st - entrance from the street, kitchen, bedroom for a babysitter (without windows) with a double bed, 2nd - living room, access to the pool, bathroom; 3rd - children's room (2 beds) and bathroom; 4th - master bedroom and bathroom with bathtub (hydro massage). A total of 6 beds, 3 bathrooms (toilet, sink and shower) and 30 steps. There is laminate on the floor somewhere, stone somewhere, there is no floor heating. The staircase is too narrow for a suitcase - 80-90 cm wide. Very fresh renovation (not without flaws). Vestel TVs, Duravit plumbing, Hansgrohe, Geberit.
Access to the pool from the room. The floor is wooden. Each room has 2 sun beds and an umbrella by the pool. The pool is not heated. There is an outdoor sofa at the exit on the opposite side.
Good sound insulation, but you can still hear the disco on the shore.
What is included in the price, i.e. for which no additional fee is charged:
1. The a la carte restaurant is very good, open from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., the lunch and dinner menus are different, but do not change. If you need something special, you need to ask in advance, they will cook it. Tables with white tablecloths, napkins, etc. (hello to the main restaurant).
2. Pavilion (boar) attached to the room on the beach - fed, watered (waiter), minibar, safe; separate pier - 2 Jacuzzis, sauna (first seen), 2 bars, sofas, pavilions.
3. There is a Roof deck in front of the main stage for the Diamond Club. The concert is clearly visible, of course, perfectly. You can also sit at the disco, but it's weird.
4. The list of services includes laundry, which is very convenient.
5. Once a week transfer to Land of Legends by minibus Mercedes or Volkswagen (leather, backlight, table, however, non-standard retrofitting), it is 60 km one way, with entrance and fast track.
6. Maybe it is important to someone - in addition to the minibar there is an alcoholic set in the room: a bottle of vodka Absolute, gina Gordons, brandy (cognac) Saint Remy VSOP, whiskey Chivas Regal 12 years old, cream liqueur, some red wine - drink it if you want, take it with you to Moscow.
7. Room service (the menu is smaller than in the restaurant).
The Diamond Club concept has one, but a very big problem - it is the absence of barriers for other hotel guests who arrange photo shoots, look at plates, and are curious. In a boar on the shore every day (I'm not exaggerating) you hear and see the scandal "why can't I be here" for 30 minutes with screams, workers, guards, threats of complaints, court, etc. I believe that the installation of security posts and posters can at least partially solve the issue. If you want peace of mind, go to another Rixos with Club Privee.

0) maybe it's just a feature - you can't record room expenses (except for paid a la carte), you have to carry cash with you, it's inconvenient.
1) Rixy Club - record activity. We arrived on Monday afternoon, but there are no more free places for the week (you can only sign up for a week in advance). I had to make a row, as a result, there were places, but only for a couple of days, then I had to finish writing, the sediment remained. After all, 75% of the workload requires additional staff.
2) Rixy Club - the process of handing over a child. Let's say the activity starts at 10.30, and you come at 10.00. You can take your child to the club, but you must return first after half an hour for activity, then after completing the activity to leave at the Rixy Club. It's very inconvenient.
3) The general restaurant, I'm sure it's not the Rixos 5 star level. Maybe it was covid, but it was much better in other Rixos.
4) bowling, billiards (in a separate room) - for a separate price; Russian billiards (in the sports bar) - dead cloth, cues, but free of charge.
5) I didn't really like a la carte restaurants: a short menu, pre-cooked soups and snacks (Italian), microwaved wings (Mexican), very poor interior (everywhere). Teppanyaki is delicious and I liked the service, the show is good, but not enough. Please note - you did not come to the paid a la carte, 50% will be charged anyway.
Comparison of MaxxRoyal (main building) and Rixos Sungate (Diamond Club). Both were in the covid 21st year and in the low season.
The territory - Maxx has more at the expense of the golf course, there is a chip - there are boxes of water scattered here and there. The promenade is bigger and more diverse in Rixos. Due to the area, you can walk more and more diverse in Maxx (for example, for moms with strollers).
The building - Maxx looks more holistic, the concept is visible, Rixos is a patchwork quilt that has developed over the years. But in Maxx, the entire center is occupied by absolutely useless Maldivian villas for 99% of vacationers.
The main restaurant is Maxx, far ahead of Rixos, in the first case a restaurant, in the second a dining room.
A la carte restaurants are tastier in Maxx (at the level of the Diamond Club restaurant).
Food in general - Maxx is well ahead due to the quality of the main restaurant, a la carte restaurants (free) and chips: pastry shop, Movenpik, chocolatier.
The children's club - Rixos is generally better: a larger area (but it is not fenced), it works until 12 at night, there is a restaurant inside, there is a playstation, more activities (circles), a teen club (did not work), but the implementation of recording and delivery spoils the impression. Maxx has bigger and better slot machines, free bowling, fenced territory.
Entertainment - Rixos is way ahead of Maxx.
Aquapark - I liked Maxx more due to the concept, it is made in the form of a castle, in Rixos there are just slides on the shore.
Sport is about parity (except for the presence of a golf course), but in Rixos there is walking accessibility of the grounds, in Maxx you will have to use a golf cart. Maxx has a football field (and more than one), with an ideal grass surface, Rixos has a mini-football field with artificial grass, in the evenings the children organize themselves, in Maxx there is no such thing in principle due to the remoteness of the field.
The spa complex is much larger in Maxx, in Rixos there are 3 saunas (a life hack - one next to the juices, there are fewer people there) and 1 hammam the size of a regular fitness center. During the season, another spa opens in the area of the 6000 building.
The indoor pool is at least 2 times wider in Maxx, in principle it is possible to practice sports swimming (in Rixos it is basically impossible), but the water is colder.
We liked the spa much more at Rixos: they do it perfectly, there is an Indian, a Balinese, a powerful Georgian, a Turk for sports massage, administrators are interested in sales, at Maxx they went once and did not take any more risks.
The outdoor pool - in Maxx, one heated one is relatively small, in Rixos there is none (it seems to me that this is a very big minus in the low season). The total area of the external pools, I think, is about the same.
Butler is Russian-speaking in Maxx and mostly remote interaction, in Rixos he is a Turk and you see him 10 times a day, including in the form of hostesses and waiters even in a la carte restaurants, otherwise about the same: they are ready to help and help, if there are shoals, they promptly fix it. For example, they asked Rixos in advance for a room with a view not into a bare brick wall, they settled, of course, in such a room, but they moved without questions.
We are VIP clients of this hotel - we come here at least 2 times a year. And it gets worse and worse every time. This time, the patience has already run out.
There are no concerts, it is impossible to watch shows, there are no parties, There are no dancing girls, There are no cocktail parties. The pool party, which was at 3 p.m., was just a little louder music, that's all
If you're lying on the pier, go to the bar at bassik and take a beer in the glass. No closer
There is no red fish. You need to get up at 7 a.m. to have it. To order baked potatoes at the beach snack, you need to stand for about an hour. Why it is done, and very slowly, by only 1 person, when there were always two, is unclear. The food is the same

We are vacationing in Rixos Sangate for the second year. The last time was in August. It was now the end of May.
The main disadvantage of the hotel at this time of year is the lack of warm places for swimming: the water is not heated anywhere, even in the indoor pool, although in winter, as far as we understand, it was heated. There were regular rains and cloudy weather, there was not enough sun for natural heating of the pools. But they appreciated the local good baths.
Classes in the children's club and sports classes in the wordclass, as always, are at the highest level. The children's water slides are super, they even decided not to go to a separate water park.
Good shows for kids and adults every night.
There are no bathrobes and branded cosmetics in the rooms like last year.
There is a sufficient choice of food, seafood, as before, is not available, but meat / fish of various types is consistently of high quality. There were delicious strawberries for dinner. Pure alcohol is good (prosecco, beer, whiskey), cocktails, unfortunately, have not become better.
On the penultimate day before departure, they fell ill at the same time as the child: fever, vomiting, diarrhea. The hotel said that such widespread diseases have been observed for several days, there are queues at the next pharmacy. We have no complaints specifically about the hotel on this issue - the service and cleanliness do not differ from what happened last year (when no one was ill), and the causes of the pandemic may be different. But the sediment, as they say, remained. Stock up on coal, there is none at the local pharmacy.
In general, in terms of the combination of services, Rixos Sangate was for us the optimal hotel for families with children and sports enthusiasts.
But after a serious illness that was picked up there, there is no desire to return.

In general, the hotel is definitely not 5 stars, but a maximum of 3.
Everything is old, dirty and shabby. The first impression as I entered the room is that the dust sticks to my feet. The daughter tore the beads, began to collect them, looked under the bed so there is generally tin. It's like the floor hasn't been washed there since the opening. There is a huge mold on the door and jamb in the bathroom from dampness. After taking a shower, the water not only floods the entire bath, but also flows into the corridor. 🤦🏼♀️ It's a pity that I didn't take more than one photo, because at first we basically didn't care about the quality of the room and the cleaning in general. Until our friends who were vacationing with us started complaining that they had a whole anthill in their room on the balcony. Let's move on to the cherry on the cake , this is definitely poisoning. our 3-year-old daughter was poisoned. At 5 a.m., she started vomiting non-stop, of course, as soon as they woke up, they ran to the medical center. No one speaks Russian there at all. We started calling the insurance company, immediately announced that we still have to pay $ 30 for this. And do you know what to pay for? For the fact that some blockhead, having no education at all, not that related to medicine, just pierced my child's arm past the Vein trying to put an IV. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ At the same time, he was poking his fingers through her veins trying to find the puncture site with his BARE FINGERS!!!BECAUSE HIS GLOVE IS TORN!! He didn't even pay attention to it and continued to stick the needle in. Sterility is just 0. The child has a tantrum, they barely held her together with her husband, so he also stuck it past. I sealed everything up and there was no trace of him.. as it never happened. Okay, I saw that the IV wasn't pouring, so I called the girl to get everything out … And before that, their type of "chief doctor" (because the girl and the non-nurse, as I understand the service staff) examined the child's ears, nose, throat, listened to the lungs, and it's strange why he didn't hear that the child was coughing.. The child who had POISONING did not even look at or feel his stomach, Naturally we caused a panic so that we were taken to a normal qualified medical institution.
And while we were running around the hospitals, in the morning I called room service and asked them to replace our entire bed, towels and wash the floor. As you know, the little child was sick anywhere. When they managed to substitute a bucket, and when they didn't. Upon arrival, we only saw that our bed was changed, and the cracked nut was lying on the floor, there were papers under the sink in the bathroom, three towels for washing were not brought 🤦🏼♀️ yellow stains on the floor from you know what… What kind of cleaning is this?! When they called room service with this question, we, like our friends, were naturally told that this was their FIRST time that they always cleaned perfectly. That 's it 🤷🏼♀️
About the beach …
Firstly, the stone bottom, which is impossible to enter, even in coral slippers, is too heavy.
Secondly, about a paid bungalow that costs $ 250. The policy is that the waiters serve you in the bungalow. We couldn't wait for them from the first minute we entered there. No call button, no personal requests did not speed up the process. Plus, several people from our friendly company gave the waiters $ 10 each for a tip. Even after that, they bring your order 1 time and that's it, after they are not seen again. Until we raised a panic in the evening, when their service closes at 18:00, no one came up to us, did not remove the garbage, did not remove it from the table.. That's what we paid for, I wonder.
The only plus of all this is a bar somewhere between the 4th and 6th buildings, I don't remember the name, something like a "HOUSE BAR", and a small family pool at this bar. That's where we were really welcomed. Both the officials and the bartenders there are kind, smiling, friendly, serve in 6 seconds. Of course, not for a big thank you, but for the tip, but still. And they brought sweets and cocktails of different colors for the children. We were served beautiful cocktails with smoke and so on. That's where we liked it. 🥲❤️And it was only with these sincere evening parties at the Bar that I enjoyed this vacation. ❤️
Terrible service: check-in, room cleaning, in general, all employees are not set up to help you and make your stay comfortable.
The food in April is very modest, as is the choice.

The class hotel is the best I've ever seen and the food is delicious and there are a lot of areas for children of all kinds, in a word, not a hotel but a paradise! That's a solid FIVE
Everything is fine. They quickly moved into the 1st building, there was some kind of hum from the roof of the neighboring building, they asked for another room, moved to the 4th building. The room is clean, everything is whole, almost new. The food is varied, delicious, there were no queues from 30 to 6.11. There is a children's club for children. The children were constantly asking to go there. The water in the pools and the water park is cold, probably about 22-23 g, it was warmer in the sea. We took them for free to land of legends.
On the plus side, we liked the food. The rest is a big minus. It's not the first time we've visited the Rixos network, but I definitely don't want to return to Sungate.
Room cleaning was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. The room is very old, we lived in the grand suite, the furniture is old, the smell is from the carpet, there is a smell of humidity from the toilet. When you ask to bring something to the room, on the 5th attempt and after half an hour it is brought to your room. Quest service - they never called the main manager for me. Judging by the fact that similar comments have been appearing since 2019, apparently they are not working on feedback. And no one reads the reviews.
The evening disco lasts until 1-30 at night, you can hear it very strongly. In 7 days there was one evening performance and a Loboda concert.
Unsatisfactory quality of alcoholic beverages. It's just awful. Efes beer only, Turkish wine, champagne.
The hotel is not worth the money spent.
Well, what can I say. You're just a bomb. The team is super. The staff is super. The food is great.

In general, the priorities of this hotel are not clear, the food does not match the price, there is no fish for breakfast, well, it's just little things, the queue for an omelet , in general, the hotel does not correspond to its status, it has become massive, a lot of people from the Baltic States and it's obviously cheaper for them than from the Russian Federation and this also adds flavor not in favor of respectability , the hotel is just a family-run one, just like the usual one on the coast, nothing remarkable
