I liked the hotel based on photos and reviews.
They tried to hit it several times. Unfortunately, the seats were always occupied. When they were passing through, they wanted to get in at least for a day, but, despite the availability of free places, they refused to check in. They are inhabited for 5 days or more. Keep in mind 😉
We went to a restaurant with our family to have a snack. The waiter forgot to include 1 of the dishes in the bill. We waited a long time, but they didn't bring it. There are a lot of insects flying and falling into the cup with drinks. It's not pleasant enough. The restaurant differs only in the price tag from the casual dining room.
We are from Tolyatti, we have a 100% service in Serbia%

Very nice hotel! Beautiful, well-maintained territory. Polite staff, delicious food in the on-site Tea house. Private beach. Beautiful view. A lot of positive impressions.
Top. We were with my daughter . Everything is just fine!!! It's clear!!! So judging by the latest photos, it got even better there. We will definitely go back there many times
Now there is a gorgeous pool
A very cool place, well-groomed territory with hammocks, umbrellas and sun beds right on the beach, there is even a football field with a natural lawn and a good restaurant on site.
I was in Abkhazia in the summer of 2019 and stayed at the Abbot's hotel. In general, everything is fine, a separate territory and a place where you can park your car. Its own swimming pool and a bar by the sea. There is a small kennel with various animals on site, including two Cougars. I really liked the service and staff. There is also a gym. I put a four for a fairly high price tag in my opinion. Well, I think this is the best place to relax in Abkhazia, especially it stands out against the general background of the devastation of the republic itself.
The territory of the hotel is excellent for only 5 rubles, but everything else is a maximum of 2 rubles.Let's start from the reception, the girls do not know how to meet guests at all.The rooms are the era of the USSR, the shower stalls are shaky, the light in the rooms is dim, and the extrasa sleeping place for a child is a COT FOR 2800rubles/DAY, this is terrible, we gave 28000 rubles for a cot in 10 days.We lived more decently in Anapa for 30,000 rubles, and here is a 2-room room with 2 single beds, tin for a 4⭐ Hotel. The food in the Abbot's restaurant is delicious, the cook is well done. The breakfasts are excellent, but the price is 400rubles /person, it was fine for us, because there is nothing else in the vicinity. The tea house prices are slightly lower, although it is also delicious, especially excellent shish kebab. In general, the hotel is for 1 time, I would not go back there for that kind of money.A vacation in 2021 cost 132,000 rubles, of which 62400 purely for a room without food,2 vz+1 for 6 years.
Nice hotel. If they hadn't created high expectations, then I would have given them a five.
They promise a gym - in fact, a small room with dumbbells and one treadmill.
They promise yoga - as a result, it is paid and early in the morning.
They promise volleyball - but in fact there is a playground and a ball, and vacationers themselves should organize themselves ... well, it would be nice if you were looking for an initiative employee from the hotel…
And so many things…
The rooms are small (it doesn't matter, but when you expect one in the photo, but in reality the other, there is a slight disappointment)
But there is a wonderful restaurant next to the hotel! Probably the most delicious food in Gagra!!!
Generally, I recommend it, but do not overestimate your expectations)
Gudal is the best! As soon as you arrive, go straight to the bar. He will give you a rest!!! If you want a hookah, go straight to David! Makes a bomb! You will not be left without attention!
A good hotel, but the prices for accommodation are horse-drawn...it's easier to fly abroad or live in a 5* hotel in Sochi. It is very expensive for Abkhazia! The real summer price per day for a room is 5-6 thousand rubles.
Aaaaaah! This is a place where you can return 1000 times! High level of service! Aesthetics and design are at the highest level! You can't think of a better location!
I really like the hotel, I have been traveling here for 4 years. At the moment, there is one big PROBLEM - last year, prices were raised due to the pandemic, and this year they raised them even higher. Roughly speaking, last year, the standard room in the new buildings with a balcony in September cost us 4,300 per day, this year they ask for 8,300, Although in fact, the room is not so chic, ordinary..But the territory is fire, the nature is magical.
The chalet building is terrible. For 12 thousand a day, torn towels, all plumbing leaks, furniture in terrible condition, elementary shampoo had to be begged at the reception
The hotel has a beautiful territory, a swimming pool and a beach. The rooms are shabby: cheap shabby furniture, cobwebs everywhere, very dark. There is a refrigerator, but there is no water in it, as well as disposable toothbrushes. The TV is not working in all rooms. It's very noisy! There is a huge gap in the door. There is a "Restaurant" at the hotel, the food in it is disgusting, but the price tag is Moscow. Breakfast is 800 rubles per person. The standard room on the ground floor is 8.300 ! The price does not match the quality.
It is a beautiful historical building, but that is why it is problematic from the point of view of heating - it does not exist.
Delicious cuisine in the restaurant, but all for cash, past the cash register.
A good hotel, they say one of the most decent in Abkhazia. Not far from the border with Russia. But if you are going to travel, then it is far from this hotel everywhere (and it is not interesting to sit there, unless you have small children and you do not want to leave. The beach is a large pebble, take slippers, pedicure without them kapets 😂 Two massage therapists worked at the hotel - Alexander and a girl (I forgot the name), I was with both, and I highly recommend both. The rooms are cleaned normally, upon arrival, our room smelled of shit, as a result, the sofa stank, previous guests spoiled it, it was replaced for us, no problem. Beach towels are provided, there are no bathrobes. The rooms have excellent audibility, and a strange location - there was someone's bathroom above our bedroom, so in the evening, before going to bed, I perfectly heard the neighbors washing from above))). Yes, there are two restaurants and if you are waiting for delicious Caucasian cuisine, then no, no restaurant has it. Don't wait))) and there is no nearby either))) get ready to eat modestly and expensively))) Have a good rest!
The price and service are complete nonsense.I did not like the attitude of the staff and the owner of the hotel to the requests of their vacationers and the solution of issues positively. I will never go to this hotel. The sediment remained unpleasant
April 2021. We have been looking for a hotel in Abkhazia for a long time. We thought of staying in New Athos or Pitsunda, but it's kind of sad with good hotels there, and it's a long way to the border. The choice fell on the Abaat hotel, thanks to the reviews on Yandex.
The hotel is very close to the border (we drove 23 minutes from the crossing point). But it's like he's at the entrance to Gagra. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the old town (or rather to the "movement"). But for us it was rather a plus, because there were no leftist people and crowds around. Very quiet and peaceful. The territory is green, chic, well-groomed. A playground (modern) with swings, a cage with pheasants, with cougars right on the territory, a sauna. Heated swimming pool (in April temp.the water was 23 degrees). Swimming pool with sun beds and sea view. Yes, the coast is sad.. It is rocky and not well-maintained, but it will be more comfortable for the season. The hotel itself (main building) is built into an old fortress-and this is priceless! Next to it is the 6th century church, which people come to on excursions. The famous Gagripsh restaurant is almost a 7-10 minute walk away. Near the old Soviet Park and the beginning (or end) of the equipped embankment. There are separate buildings with apartments on the territory of the hotel. The hotel has a small children's room downstairs. Laundry service: 200 rubles per package of linen. We took breakfast in the Teahouse according to the menu (porridge for 79 rubles, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, scramble are already more expensive, oriental coffee 80 rubles, latte 220, boat (khachapuri in Adjarian) 190 rubles). The staff at the Tea House is trying very hard!
Of the cons: the rooms are quite small (we had an improved one), there are not enough shelves in the bathroom (in the shower), hooks for towels, surfaces for jars and tubes, underfloor heating)), given the cost of a kilowatt is much lower than in the Russian Federation. There is no sound insulation, neighbors can be heard (especially noisy southerners from Krasnodar), you can smoke on the balcony, as in other things, and everywhere in Abkhazia.
Overall, I really liked the place, the staff, the silence and the nature.
Perhaps we would have returned here.
For the sake of interest, you need to live in Amre Spa, but the price tag is much higher there.
We lived nearby, in the Abbot we were only at breakfast. Buffet, 400 rubles/person, a large selection of dishes, coffee, the service is very attentive. It was delicious!
One of the advantages is that it costs a lot. The kitchen is bad, I didn't like anything. Thai soup is not edible by itself, but the rice was put as stolen. Caesar salad with salmon... They forgot to add salt to the salmon, they put it raw and not salted... The ice cream was ordered... the cheapest and doesn't taste very good
A great hotel, although there were problems with checking into the room, but it was an isolated case, the hotel is beautiful, the outdoor pool is all next to the sea, I advise you!
Nice beach. Swimming pool. Beautiful well-maintained territory. There are shortcomings in the rooms and service, but the overall impression is very good.
Everything is clean and tidy, but expensive. The beach is not equipped. However, I was in early June, knowing the efficiency of the local population, maybe they just didn't have time to do it....but I can't believe it...))))
