It is small for an international airport. If you want to buy a gift on the road, you will not buy it, the shops are closed and there are few of them. Very expensive hotels at the airport
Our airport is working very slowly, it is not ready for the flow of tourists at all, it takes a very long time to pass customs control at the international terminal, in Antalya I was blown away by such a flow of people and how quickly we passed everything...
It is spacious, the staff works quickly. But there are no food outlets outside the passport control area, in the international terminal. The assortment of the duty free store is small.
Great airport, big and comfortable. The local and international terminals are connected on the ground floor. The business lounge in the international terminal is cool and comfortable. There is no comparison with Almaty. There is a comfortable smoking room.
Very angry and unfriendly employees are sarcastic, "gently rude" there were 2 bottles of mineral water in the suitcase, they frayed all the nerves, I do not know what they suspected, but clearly they have some kind of trick to call you before departure and portray responsible bosses, it's good that you arrived much in advance
It looks like a good airport, but there is no desire to fly out of here anymore
Do you want to weigh your luggage? Look for a 100tg coin, because the packers did not just put the scales in the center of the hall
Important! You will not be able to take more than 32 kg of luggage from this airport, there are strange "sanitary standards" at the airport, according to which loaders cannot lift more than 32 kg on board the aircraft (as if they do it with their hands on the stairs)
There are a lot of controls on an international flight, documents and tickets are checked 4 times (before going up to the border guard service, at the border guard service, when boarding the plane at the counter, and another border guard in front of the plane itself)
There is a duty, small and as everywhere with inconvenient rates and separate prices for the EAEU (+15-20% of the price)
A very beautiful building, cozy inside the building, the staff is friendly., but everything fades due to cheating passengers when weighing luggage!!!!
The scales show 1,200kg more at the international airport and 1,500kg more sadly at the local airport.
Flying out of Germany, one weight is correct (every house also has electronic scales)
And having arrived in Astana, when the same bogage is handed over, it is automatically removed!!!
This is just outrageous, and money is being pumped out!!!!!
We kindly ask you to adjust the scales!!!!!
Terrible service, rude staff, don't even say hello or answer in Russian when you ask in Kazakh and English. At least that's the case in the domestic terminal. Things are better at the international terminal
The domestic flight area is quite decent, but during peak hours, the passenger and carry-on baggage screening area can barely cope with the flow of passengers. This is especially noticeable every year on New Year's Eve and the days before holidays with long vacations. As long as you stand these queues, seven sweats will be shed. Otherwise, everything is clean and tidy. In the new part of the airport, where international departures are, it is more spacious and convenient there. We have never been stuck for a long time - everything is always fast and without creating long queues. Border control is the same, they work quickly, politely and without too much fuss.
Nice airport, quiet, calm.I was at the international terminal, I liked everything, very friendly staff, there is a good business lounge, clean, comfortable.
There is a large airport, there are counters where you can ask questions. There are places to charge the phone, but there are very few of them and the chances of waiting in line are extremely low.
There are cafes and coffee shops upstairs.
Normal port. There is Wi-Fi in the cafe, after buying a cup of tea, you can freely sit on the Internet, especially for guests of the country in roaming.
Upon arrival, we found a Wi-Fi in the port itself.
The parking payment system for non-residents was not thought out a little, I had to go and find out how to pay, the parking meter requires a local cell phone number
The airport is small. I liked it. Clean toilets, not many people. Duty free is small, there is a cafe. Quick passage through passport control and customs. To wrap a suitcase - 1500 tenge. The exchange rate is better in the domestic departure lounge, and the exchange rate is worse in the international departure lounge.
Beware of taxi drivers "who are ready to help "
Connect roaming in advance, as it does not work at the airport
Yandex taxi with a Russian card works perfectly in the city
A high-class airport. Excellent staff service. A wonderful VIP lounge.
A quick solution with the purchase of tickets. Decent inspection on landing. Excellent service in the cafe.
Before departure, I forgot to take out the donated cognac from my carry-on luggage, and during the inspection they made me look like a criminal. They said that you would pick them up on arrival from the island. They didn't return anything to me upon arrival, so they could pick it up tomorrow. But I'm already in another city tomorrow. Apparently I liked the cognac.
It is impressive that it was built in a very short time. But the problem is that it is already being destroyed, this year, at night, they were doing major repairs, because of this there were flight delays and complete confusion.
I was the most successful airport for selection , terrible service, one suitcase was broken during unloading, the other was scratched, everything was terribly thought out, the airport designer apparently had his own narrow-minded vision (specifically in terms of luggage) there are no questions about staff service
Finally, a new terminal has been opened, and I want to believe that everything will soon be adjusted to automatism, and I am so very glad that the new gates to our city are working.
There are very few passport control desks for those flying abroad. The people are standing like a snake. We stood with the children for about an hour and a half to go through passport control.
The staff works clearly. The waiting rooms are clean. We had to wait for the plane to be sent, but we didn't wait much for about half an hour.In general, the airport is not bad.
Not a big airport, the staff works quickly and professionally, the exchanger is only up to passport control, there is no duty free zone. There are only one or two cafes in the duty free zone, and they may not work. One duty free store, the prices there if you fly to Russia +20% for perfume from the price in the shopping center of Astana, for alcohol +60-80% of the price if you fly to Russia. I highly do not recommend planning purchases and counting on a profitable duty free at this airport.
The gate number is not indicated on the scoreboard. There is also no information in the online scoreboard on the site. We learned about the exit change just before boarding. They announce over the loudspeaker in such a way that it is simply impossible to understand more than half of the words.
We arrived from the Russian Federation on January 1, quickly walked down the corridor to passport control, there was a minimal interview with the passport control officer: the goal? When is it back? We went outside, called a taxi through Yandex in the app, and paid in rubles. The car arrived , they spoke in Russian
I didn't like it here that they couldn't get off the plane for a long time. Either the ramp was not served, or they were not ready for acceptance of the aircraft. ??? And when they got off the plane, the airport and customs control workers had such faces, as if they were being forced to work here. And we received the luggage for about 1 hour. It's not good for anything. And this is an international airport.
Commotion and bustle at the entrance. The airport itself is clean, the waiting room is clean, the seats are comfortable enough. There are few places to charge devices. The main disappointment is the almost complete absence of any shops at the airport of this level. Tenge remained. I was planning to buy souvenirs at the airport. So there they are not there! One half-dead kiosk with minimal choice for wild money and boring duty-free. Elementary keychain nowhere to buy! Considering that there is basically no large selection of souvenir shops in Astana, this was a big unpleasant surprise.
A good, understandable airport. Clean, modern toilets. The staff is responsive and ready to answer all questions. They will always help foreigners with calling a taxi. Parking is large and clear. The waiting rooms are clean and comfortable.
A very nice and cozy airport. There is a canteen, the prices are very affordable considering that this is an airport. There are quite a lot of taxi drivers, they do not intrusively offer their services. 4 stars because I didn't find an outlet to charge my phone. There is also no wireless charging. It made me uncomfortable. I barely found the outlet.
They found it quickly, but not according to the instructions, only by asking can you find where to go. We did online check-in on the spot and checked in our luggage, which is very convenient.
A good, spacious airport, there is a place to have a snack both on a budget and in style))) it is convenient that there is a smoking room in the passenger boarding area.
Great airport
Everything is clear by location, only a little was unclear by local/international zones, there were not enough signs
It looks beautiful, very clean.
The paid parking system works terribly. They constantly hang paid debts on me for nothing, but they can't explain it. There is no proof. The debts that the limit is not returned. And fines are being hung from the sky
A small but very convenient airport. It's hard to get lost and everything is in its place. Transfer from international to domestic flights under the roof) and quickly on foot)
For the first time in Astana.. a good airport: large, clean, the number of people is not felt... The toilets are clean enough. Hand dryers, contactless taps.. The reception desk is conveniently located. The parking lot is large, I won't say any more, because we took a taxi only one way to get from the train station. There are not enough outlets to charge the phone.. and they are located unsuccessfully.. to move from the departure area to the arrival area and from one terminal to another, you do not need to leave the building on the street. There is a good cafe at the international airport with excellent food and reasonable prices (from the entrance to the right.)
The airport is good for its location. Clean, comfortable. The staff is also good, but they can be rude at customs, generally not bad) I flew with a transfer and everything was fine
Clean, bright, flying away, I did not understand a little that for departure you need to take the escalator to the second floor, I did not see any signs. Registration on Fly Arystan is independent. I left in the morning, there was no one near the counters who could explain how to do this. People figured it out for themselves. Perhaps there is an appropriate staff during the day.
There are quite a lot of seats in the departure lounge, there were enough for everyone. There are a lot of cafes, not everyone worked early in the morning, but you can find someone who is awake and buy coffee. The staff is polite. The landing was on time, and we also left on time.
Almost at any time, you can change money and buy a local SIM card on the ground floor, the exchange rate is like in the city, which is very convenient. Taxi to the Yandex taxi center (payment is automatically debited in rubles) 2500-3000 tenge.
Everything is good, everything is delicious, comfortable
Advice! Open the forte travel card and after registration of the flight you can go to the VIP waiting room, there is free food, drinks, massage chair
I was very pleased with the insignificant waiting time for luggage. Compared to Tolmachev airport, Novosibirsk city, it is much faster.
Well done, keep it up
