The airport is good. Everything is fine at the international terminal. But in front of the domestic flight terminal, there is a constant traffic jam on the pedestrian. There is no information on parking prices on the Internet, although there is even a covered one. Inside there is a mini supermarket with normal prices.

But there is one trap for the inattentive:
The parking lot at the airport is divided into categories P1, P2, P3, P4
If you want to leave the car for 1-2 weeks, put the car on P4.
We did not pay attention, we left the car on P1 for 3 weeks - the golden parking turned out to be 90,000 tenge

A very clear airport. I was here for the first time and figured out where everything was. You can buy a SIM card, change money and withdraw it from an ATM. By the way, I read that the exchange rate is not profitable. But it turned out to be a very good one. I realized this when I was looking for exchangers in the city. If I had known, I would have changed it at the airport. The SIM card cost 5,000 tenge or 1,000 rubles. Very convenient.

I've been to this airport once, in transit. The impression was good, I was very pleasantly surprised by the absolute cleanliness in the restrooms. Even sinks and mirrors are constantly cleaned and wiped.
There is a capsule hotel at the airport (but there were no places there, I stayed in the city), a luggage storage room (but I used it). Overall, I liked it. And the size of the airport, of course, is impressive - like everything in Astana, it is prone to gigantomania 😄

It's a terrible business room, which can't even be called that, even because of its size. Drinks locked in the refrigerators and a stream of icy air from the air conditioner directly from above. A good airport, order and system are immediately visible, there are no bombs pestering passengers at the exit, entry and exit are automated. The inside of the airport building is clean and safe. I saw off an elderly married couple, and employees with a wheelchair arrived on call.

One of the most comfortable airports in Central Asia. Queues at the check-in desks, which are moving very slowly, are not the biggest nuisance. The main thing is to know about this feature and arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the flight. Wonderful shops and affordable (compared to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg ... And SO ON) catering points.

In general, it is a good, small airport, with a fairly large set of destinations (thanks separately for air astana-planes, service, maintenance)! I took off the star for a little informative situation with the arrival at exactly the barrier that is necessary for different purposes (just drop it off, leave it for a long time, long parking) you can't figure it out the first time (the informant doesn't help much)+ for on-site payment, only kaspi is not available for Russian tourists (cash payment at the airport, through the terminal and then without change, you must specify the Kazakh cell phone number for delivery). The second disadvantage is covered long-term parking with unclear tariffs and pricing!
