In general, it is a good, small airport, with a fairly large set of destinations (thanks separately for air astana-planes, service, maintenance)! I took off the star for a little informative situation with the arrival at exactly the barrier that is necessary for different purposes (just drop it off, leave it for a long time, long parking) you can't figure it out the first time (the informant doesn't help much)+ for on-site payment, only kaspi is not available for Russian tourists (cash payment at the airport, through the terminal and then without change, you must specify the Kazakh cell phone number for delivery). The second disadvantage is covered long-term parking with unclear tariffs and pricing!

I fly on international flights once every six months. Now some kind of repair of the airport is only open for a day, there are a lot of people. Registration is opened earlier, passport control is 1 hour long, queues are endless. Consider this! The workers are doing well, doing everything in their power! They try as soon as possible so that everything goes through. There are capsules for relaxation, sun beds in the waiting room.

The international terminal is connected to an internal large covered walkway. There are two exchangers, the international exchange rate is lower, to change money in the one in the transition near the domestic terminal. The internal terminal is beautiful. There is a good inexpensive dining room on the second floor - I recommend it. There are enough places to wait in the international terminal, there is a capsule hotel and an information desk for visitors. The staff at the information center are attentive, explained everything, helped with all questions, helped you connect the fi. They told us how to get to the sights. There are storage rooms in both terminals, but unfortunately they were not working at the time of my arrival. I hope it won't be for long. There are two buses to the city, number 10 is a long electric bus with a trailer, very convenient. They go often.

Taxi drivers inside the building offer their delivery services, but their price is 2 times higher than in Yandex taxi.
