I stayed here for a few days. The impressions are positive, of course there are shortcomings, but they are insignificant. The smallest, single room (the word cheap could not be written since it is 140 dollars per night) was spacious in size, with high-quality furniture and classic renovation. In general, classic is just the right description for this hotel, it is classic. Breakfast for $ 20, the buffet is good, but there are plenty of places in the area, choose, I was lazy and had breakfast at the hotel, I did not regret it. The hotel also serves food late at night, which is atypical and very convenient. The salad with melon and prosciutto is delicious. In general, this is almost a full-fledged 5-star hotel. The service is excellent.

Clean, good linen, nice bar. The breakfasts are so-so, for this money in the Grand Cafe opposite you can eat much better. For some reason there was no black tea, only green and with thyme, but they brought the usual black after a hitch. From ventilation pulls from smoking rooms sometimes. In general, of course, it would not hurt to update the furniture from the late nineties, and the carpet in places, and definitely need to change the mattresses. Pillows to choose from and excellent, and mattresses creak with old age.

Champagne breakfasts, a wide selection of dishes and desserts. Do not hesitate to ask the waiter for an omelet, an egg "poshot" with bacon or salmon, freshly squeezed juice: they are not presented on the buffet table, but at your request they will be prepared individually. Swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are many restaurants, cafes, shops nearby, and even a good old cinema that will take you back to Soviet times.

A good hotel, but it does not reach 5 stars. The hotel has a great location in the city center, close to cafes, restaurants, attractions - everything is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and the beds are large. Of the minuses, I would note a very meager minibar (4 or 5 bottles, mostly strong alcohol) and a modest (for 5 stars) breakfast - I did not see any "a la carte" offers, I did not see freshly squeezed juices (there were three of the packages - grapefruit, orange and grape!!!). In general, savings are visible in everything from personnel to the quality of services.

- and the other half is the staff, because there are all questions, "cases", requests, problems from and from clients - that is, all the most non-standard. And here it all depends on the staff.
That's why I decided to mark Europe positively - I just opened my mouth to ask and they preemptively:
"there is bottled water in the rooms"
"Here's a cup for cocoa"

Doubtful, but okay.
I will immediately note the good side-this is a very polite staff, friendly and helpful.
But there was a nuance when checking in - I was given a room for people with limited mobility. I asked for a replacement, everything seemed to be resolved, but I lost time (there were very short travel times), and I did not find a compliment from the hotel in the room, usually in good hotels they do this.
The room itself is already old. Tired furniture, stains on the carpet.
Poor communication between employees, I was very surprised when I found a maid in my room on the day of departure.
You need to be careful when booking: I was given a room with a single bed (I was surprised that there were such beds, even though I really booked one myself).
The only advantage of the room is a balcony with a beautiful view.
Breakfast for three. It seems that everything you need is there, but without the frills in the form of red fish and so on. There was also a meager selection of bread. But I would like to note that the waiters are friendly and polite.
This is not my first trip to Minsk, the previous hotels were much better.
Conclusion: I don't understand why this hotel has a 5-star category.
PS: I found out about the availability of a spa in the hotel when I read the reviews here…
I will stay somewhere else on my next trip.

We had a rest at the hotel in early March, the first trip to Minsk. We were very satisfied! The online booking went through without any problems. I warned in Whatsapp that we would arrive later than the check-in time, they respond very quickly. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. For some reason, I especially remember how an employee at the reception helped a foreigner (not a hotel guest) find a communication salon where you can purchase a SIM card. I called a specific salon and clarified the opening hours. It was very nice.
During the stay, cleaning was done every day except the day of eviction. No complaints. The only thing missing were cotton swabs and discs.
A nice bonus is the presence of a swimming pool and sauna. There were questions about cleanliness, but we preferred not to think about it 🙈
We didn't have breakfast included, but we went once for the sake of interest. Cheesecakes and coffee are great, but scrambled eggs with bacon are more like scrambled eggs with pieces of fat.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is its location. We considered other accommodation options and then compared them with Europe, the latter won in all cases. Everything that was interesting to see turned out to be within walking distance. Both the sights and the promoted restaurants that were recommended to visit.
In general, we were most satisfied with the choice of the hotel ❤️ Thank you for the service ❤️

We spent the weekend in Europe. Check-in was very late. I called in advance and asked for the upper floor as well. The check-in is excellent, the sixth floor, and there is also a balcony in the room. We ordered breakfast in the room. Everything is sooo delicious. Hot, fresh, large portions. Beautifully served. There is a swimming pool before breakfast. Nice water, nice shower. Everything is very clean. The room cleaning is perfect. Snow-white linen, comfortable bathrobes. Delicious coffee in the lobby. The weather was frosty, and the rooms were warm and cozy. We had a wonderful Old New Year!

A wonderful hotel, at the right level. The interior of the hall was pleasantly pleased, the glass elevator smiled. In some places, the interior of the room fund is not very tired, but it is kept so clean and tidy that you do not pay attention to it. The old town, the square and the metro station are all just around the corner. There is also a pedestrian walking area nearby, a lot of shops and a variety of food. I think it's the best hotel in Minsk. :-) the staff runs at the first click. There is an underground parking. The rooms are good. The bathrooms have a bathtub and a shower at once. The breakfasts are good. And on the stairs there is a cage with a talking parrot)). And the elevator is double-frame.

A terrible impression of this hotel! My husband and I booked a room online for the wedding. Two days before, we received a reminder that the room was booked and we were expected at the hotel. On the agreed date, we arrived at the hotel in the evening, the girl at the reception asked to show our passports, we explained to her that we did not have passports in our hands, because they were in the registry office, but there were photos of two passports, to which we were told that they could not check us in according to the photo, moreover, another girl came up at the reception, she said no hotel would check us in without passports and said that if WE HAD CALLED the HOTEL, they would have warned us that original passports were needed (there is no information about passports in the booking reminder). We were simply refused check-in without being offered any options. After that, we called the Renaissance Hotel, where we were settled without problems using passport photos (they only clarified if we were residents) and said that if we were residents, then we could check into any hotel using passport photos. Bottom line: the service at the Europa Hotel leaves much to be desired.

A nice hotel in the very center of the city. The historical center is right under the windows. The rooms are spacious. Nice beds and linen. Good breakfasts. The spa center is not very good, but we sat in the hammam with pleasure. We were in early March. On the morning of March 7, a saxophone player played in the lobby, it sounds very beautiful in the atrium of the hotel, gave us a good mood. In general, the hotel left a very pleasant impression.

Minuses:

One of the best hotels I've been to. Not counting abroad, of course.
Everything is clean , without damage , everything is working properly . The bathroom is clean, the towels are a little tired, but still normal. The pool and sauna are very decent. The restaurant is beautiful, the lobby is very elegant, especially the bar.

I will be objective- the hotel is in the city center, very conveniently located, the service at the reception, in the restaurant is excellent, polite. Upon check-in, there was a remark: the room was booked for two, but everything in the room was only for one person. I called and asked for an addition - almost everything was brought. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. The pool is almost empty - or we were so lucky. There was an unpleasant aftertaste during the eviction, my daughter and I were shown the use of the minibar, although I didn't even look closely at what was there when we checked in. I refused to pay, let them deal with the maids, who claim that something has disappeared there. And I would like to add to the inattention of the maids, who forgot their cleaning tools. In general, they spoiled my good mood from visiting Minsk. I advise you in the future, when checking into the room, ask to remove everything from the minibar.

A wonderful hotel, but there is one thing that spoils everything. The work of the booking department, we stayed at this hotel twice, the first time in 2022 we booked with a booking number, the second time 04-05.11.2023 by phone and both times upon arrival we were told there was no reservation. The first time they showed the booking number, they gave rooms, 04.11.23 was the second time and in the end they gave only one room, the second offered apartments for the price of 1800 rubles a day, when we booked 1000 rubles for two days. I wonder if the receptionist Irina is in her right mind at all, if it wasn't for my sister, who restrained me in expressions, Irina would have learned a lot of interesting things from me.
And what do you think, Irina offered apartments at the price of our initial booking, saying they need to prepare it and are ready to provide it a little later, we came later and as a result the price is 400 rubles higher, but what is it and then the reception deceived us. There was no strength to argue and say that they promised for the price of the initial booking, but the negative from the reception remained.
I advise everyone not to believe what they say on the phone, call and check the reservation before departure.

The location of the hotel is excellent, but the staff is weak and not experienced.. not friendly.. We ordered a two-room junior suite with a view of the ancient city, and settled with a view of the main street, near the utility room, where there were a bunch of cleaning carts with a room full of cleaners!!! And the buffet at the 5-star hotel is terribly not tasty, the staff is sleepy and indifferent… It was obvious from some types of food that they were being fed yesterday's food! And the fruits were laid out like a cat crying, one apple, three or four kiwis, etc. It felt like they were saving on everything!!! And the coffee machine, old and antediluvian, worked with a screech and for the whole hall ...., the only one ... does not pull Five stars!!!!!

You can start exploring Minsk from this hotel if you have not been to this city before. It was restored in approximately the same form on the site of the pre-revolutionary one with the same name. It corresponds to the style of the city - a mixture of the best Soviet, state and pleasant provinciality, but all in appropriate proportions and with the same, without too much pathos, taste.
