The beach is 4-5 minutes away at a leisurely pace.
There is a heated swimming pool and a bar with gazebos where they make very tasty kebabs and khinkali. And homemade wine ..... just gorgeous))) Thanks to MAGNOLIA for a wonderful stay.

My wife and child were on vacation in April 2022. They really liked it. Svetlana, the hostess of the hotel, is a very attentive and friendly woman. All tours were booked through the hotel.The food is simply gorgeous. There is a lot of food, there is something to choose from. The rooms were cleaned regularly. There is a heated swimming pool on site. Every evening the child bathed, even at an air temperature of + 13C. The sea is very close, 5 minutes on foot.

Nice hotel, convenient accommodation, in the city center! The sea is 5 minutes away. Arriving in Magnolia, only the 1st night out of 8 nights was not sick. Next, all the delights of acute intestinal infection + temperature 37-40 all 7 days. We also went home with a high fever and severe dehydration. At the same time, they ate only at the hotel. According to the rumors of the hotel residents, many people are ill, but all to varying degrees. All the money planned for the tour was spent on medicines.
Think twice before going to Abkhazia - is it worth going to another country with very poor or absent sanitation? Unless only with a serious first-aid kit and a personal doctor in touch. No one will come to you - you will go to the hospital by taxi yourself, no matter what condition you are in. By the way, the connection here is roaming and if you have not bought a local SIM card, then calls to the insurance company are not cheap and at your expense. The floors in the rooms are washed and wrung out with a rag, and then the bed linen is changed with the same hands. For 8 nights, the bed linen was changed 1-2 times and the toilet was washed 1 time, he was already ill.
Nevertheless, they met us well, settled us right away. There was food from dinner waiting in the room - they didn't dare to eat it by the smell. We are ready to help you with all the main questions at the reception. There is a lot to choose from in the dining room, but the menu does not change on days. The pool was not used - mostly children splashed there.
It is not a problem to reach the sea, but the situation on the roads is very interesting, it is not usual. The beach is so-so. There are 50 sun beds, for show. There are not so many water transport, but they drive hydrics in good health. They don't press and it's already good. The depth increases quite sharply and the sea was not quite calm. There are many microscopic jellyfish.
The room has everything you need, but very sharp tile skirting boards. And there are also a lot of biting mosquitoes. The springs in the bed are very unpleasant to dig into.
Pros: The hospital is 5 minutes by taxi from the hotel, a taxi can be called at the reception - just for this 1 star. If you put the question correctly in the hospital, they will help you in any way they can (ivs, injections). The hotel itself is conveniently located. We've been swimming in the sea once all the time, and thank you for that. The most polite are taxi drivers. There is an application for calling a taxi. By the way, taxi drivers themselves say that it is impossible to swim in such a sea. Think about it.
Cons: You are on your own and for yourself. There is no hope for serious help. Hot but polite drivers on the roads. Rotavirus or worse - at your own risk with possible sad consequences. The hotel feels like a common extractor hood - the smell of cigarettes from the toilet is constantly there. And in general, the smell in the rooms is suspicious.

We have been receiving treatment and taking a break from rest for a month now.
Now we will only drive here. Joke.

How delicious it was! 3 meals a day for 1000 rubles in this hotel is a gift. Many thanks to the hostess for this belly feast. For those who doubt whether to take food or not: do not doubt, you will have time to go to the ritsa, to new Athos in between. Separately, take meals for 500 rubles at any one meal. Cleaning: garbage removal and that's it, they never even took it out from the balcony. From the animation for 5 nights: a foam party for 5 points; children's animation for toddlers; for children from 9 years old only bass, no "mafia", no "knocking down sticks", no cartoons on the projector; disco of the 80s for adults by 2.5 points, people wanted to dance, but the music was interrupted, then intervals of 5 minutes, then quietly, in general, this moment is not much worked out; the rest of the evening there was nothing, fortunately this is Gagra and there is an embankment. The rooms are normal, even more fun than in the photo. Price-quality is 100 points. Room for 2-3 people in July 5000 rubles plus meals of 1000 rubles / person per day.

We were married in June 2022. We highly recommend this hotel. I liked absolutely everything. There is a review below that we would not like to live in the 1st building. We were just living in this building. What a wonderful view of the mountains it has. The rooms are excellent, there is everything you need. The only thing you need to go to the dining room in the 2nd building, but it didn't bother, considering that the cost of living differed by 10 thousand rubles. The food is just super, everything is homemade, delicious, fruits, desserts,pancakes, casseroles, you can lick your fingers. The maid Nina is just a smart girl, cleaning and changing towels every day. We stayed 7 nights, changed the linen 2 times. My wife had a birthday during her vacation, the hotel complimented her, which is very nice. I stayed at the hotel in October 2021. The rooms are in good condition, the room was cleaned regularly, towels and linen were changed. Great cuisine, always delicious and varied food. The cost of my vacation included only breakfast, but if desired, you can purchase lunches / dinners (for an additional fee, the prices are adequate). We stayed at this hotel with my husband and child, only breakfast was included. We arrived at the hotel early enough, settled us in the 1st building, as it is written at 14:00 it did not work out earlier.
The first thing that surprised me was the dirty walls, traces of dead mosquitoes. So the room looks decent enough at first glance. But during the vacation, such disadvantages were revealed as: the socket near the bed did not work, in order to turn off the light in the evening- you need to reach the front door, so there are 2 switches (bath and room) it is very inconvenient especially if you need to put the child to bed, with the light very bright, and without it darkness, which is nothing It's not visible. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower stall, a bedside table with a sink, a water heater. There is one outlet for 2 appliances, a water heater was turned on in one, and the other is free. The markings fall out of the wall, it was very scary to turn on the hair dryer, so we did not use it. The toilet smelled very strongly of sewage. The shower stall is small. There are towels in the room that are changed once every 3 days, which is also not very convenient. They do not always have time to dry out. The room still has air conditioning, it works well, but you won't sleep at night with the air conditioner on, as it can blow out instantly. Breakfast was from 8 to 10 in the morning, but when we arrived at 9, there were no forks and leftovers (3-5 pieces, and something was no longer there at all) . The food is the same every day, there is no fruit at all, even the compote was not always left. To go to breakfast, you had to go outside and walk literally 10 meters and there will be a 2nd building where you can have breakfast. It's not far away, but when it rains outside, it causes some difficulties. It's good that we only had breakfast included, for lunch and dinner we went to a cafe, by the way, it turned out even cheaper than ordering food at the hotel (lunch or dinner, if you don't have it included).
A huge disadvantage is that there is nothing from mosquitoes here. And they weren't even warned about them, the mosquitoes are very small and evil. My daughter was bitten very badly, and she is allergic to bites. It was very unpleasant when her eye and lip were swollen.
One of the advantages is, of course, a heated pool, if there is no opportunity to swim in the sea, then the pool is a salvation.
Speaking of the playground, there is a likeness of it, one small slide and a house.
Animation for children takes place 2 times a week by the pool, but if it rains outside, then there is no alternative. And once a week there was a foam party, but because of the weather we never saw it.
By the way, they can wash your clothes for 500 rubles.
The rooms are cleaned daily, but they came to us at a Quiet hour, so our room was cleaned 2 times in 10 days.
The administrator's job leaves much to be desired too, she has no particular desire to solve problems.

We had a room on the first floor of the 3rd building, we were worried that this was the worst room, since there were no more available. But when we came in, we were pleasantly surprised, clean, well-maintained, with a kitchen. There is also a swimming pool, but after reading the reviews, we were afraid to bathe the child, we still came to the sea. The pool is cleaned every evening, I think it would not have happened if the child had bathed there. A big plus is that there are cameras everywhere and there is security, you can leave the car without worrying. Convenient location, 5 minutes walk to the sea., there are also excursions at the hotel. In general, the owners of the hotel value their reputation, the hostess is at the hotel every day and keeps order. I forgot to add that the hotel hosts children's animation, foam party and other games. I definitely recommend it and give it 5 stars! If we go next year, we will only stay at this hotel!

Mosquitoes are also a big problem, the traces of corpses of which cover the walls. I recommend tourists to take fumigators with them. The owners of the hotel should also think about buying and servicing fumigators in the rooms. My family and I were tired the first two nights and started clapping our hands. Then we bought a fumigator. Overall, the hotel is clean and pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Be prepared for the fact that wi-fi will be free, but only for one of your devices. The password is issued for one person and is linked to the device. You will not be able to transfer the password from your phone to your laptop and back. It's easier to buy a local SIM, and link wi-fi to a laptop. The food is excellent! We took breakfast and dinner. That was enough. We dined more often in other places, and considering that we were often on excursions, buying lunch in a tour package would not have justified itself at all. Please note that the prices in cafes in Gagra are close to those in Moscow. The children at the omobo hotel liked the heated pool. The hotel has its own beach area on the public, the hotel provides sun beds and umbrellas. But there are few of them, and if you come to the beach after 10 a.m., you probably won't get them. The sea is clean, there is no such crowd of people as in the Krasnodar Territory.

Almost everyone staying at the hotel has got rotovirus and so have we. We lay in bed for 2 days. The entire coast of the Krasnodar Territory suffers from this. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are clean, delicious homemade food, heated pool, convenient location, delicious on-site restaurant. I would especially like to mention the courtesy of the staff and the wonderful service. Special thanks to the administrator Inna, for the fact that she responded to requests instantly, could instantly solve any problem, and was attentive to each client, despite the fullness of the hotel. The only drawback was the sound insulation, all the neighbors' conversations were audible. However, I definitely recommend the Magnolia hotel for a holiday in Abkhazia, it is clearly not 3*, but higher.

It looks like a decent boarding house. But for 2 tr per person (no matter child or adult), 8 tr per day, we get 2 additional places for the same 2 tr. One 2-bedroom bed for 4 tr per night. In the room- n and h e g o! Except for the mosquitoes!!!! There are a lot of mosquitoes to donate!!! We were eaten! The bathroom stinks, there is no Internet!!!! Although they claim!!! Transfer is a separate topic)))) We were transported across the border and started looking for a taxi, who would take us further: In short, the Russians are there- a wallet, a transfer - from hand to hand!, and then not immediately. We left by taxi, paying extra. They are not familiar with the service, and Gagra is a pension greenhouse!
