I stayed at this hotel with my family exactly 10 years ago in 2013, - impressions of the island of Soviet heritage with minor improvements. Although there were constant problems with electricity, it was turned off. But then it was easier than it was this time. The night from August 19th to 20th, the heat is 28-30 degrees. There is no air conditioning in principle. although, of course, he would have saved. Apparently, all the penny cosmetic improvements inside the hotel completely killed all the ventilation. it didn't work in any way. There was practically nothing to breathe. the cherry on the cake was the presence of a restaurant downstairs, from which tipsy companies came out until 03-30 at night and, opening the front door of the restaurant, waiting for a taxi, so that they could hear the music from the restaurant, loudly sang along to another musical hit at the top of their voices.
The family fell asleep only at 4 a.m. and it was hard to call it sleep. the point was made by the staff at the restaurant at breakfast with their "polite" communication, - I had to have breakfast elsewhere. only the girl at the registration deserves kind words - therefore, the score is not zero, but one.

The rooms are clean, have everything you need (TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, etc.). Drinking water on the floor in a cooler. The repair is simple without frills. The soap offered by the hotel is not soapy at all.
Breakfast is not a buffet, you can choose from 3 suggested options for a comprehensive breakfast. It's quite satisfying. Breakfast is paid separately for 9 bel.rubles.

The room is well furnished, beautiful, light-colored furniture, new, neat. But only in the rooms. ))) the bathroom falls far short. It's cramped. The pressure from the shower is bad, the cabins are cheap, with folding doors - so all the water will be on the floor. The shower cannot be fixed. Shampoo is terrible, probably the cheapest, after which the hair can not be combed - like soap washed. There is no shower gel at all, wash as you want. ))) The toilet is wobbly. We were unlucky - we arrived in the cold, so it was cold in the room, but they did a great job - they put a heater on. The room was 2 rooms, on the 12th floor. The view from the room is beautiful.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It's quiet, clean, but it smells like family from the 80s. The hotel was built for the 1000th anniversary of the city in 1973. The rooms are clean, with furniture from that time (apparently, I can be wrong). There are breakfasts: hearty, delicious.
The main advantages are the hotel is located in the very center of the city and has its own parking.
The hotel is located almost exactly from north to south, so in some rooms the sun is before lunch, and in others after, which must be taken into account, since it can be hot in the summer.
Not all rooms have air conditioning.

An inexpensive hotel in the city center within walking distance from all the iconic places of Vitebsk. Parking in front of the hotel.
