Great hotel. After the renovation, which ended in June 2024, the hotel was completely renovated, both inside and out. Very good! Everything is new and there is no trace of the 1970s style left. I recommend.

Quite a normal hotel in the very center of the city.
Pros: Convenient location, delicious breakfasts and generally a good restaurant menu, clean, the price tag is acceptable, the staff is responsive, unobtrusive, beautiful views of the city from the window.
Cons: in standard rooms, the repair is old, the doors and furniture have been seen for many decades, if you need to work remotely, or in the summer stay in the room after lunch until the evening, then choose rooms on the east side, otherwise the stuffiness is incredible.

Thanks for the wonderful renovation. You have saddled up a very high-quality European hotel from a shabby, rustic hotel. It was made with taste and obvious love. I can't say anything negative. Well, maybe some little things.

People came to this hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner... The staff was not pleased with either the thoughtfulness of the reception or the ability to organize it. Confusion, the combination of two different groups of tourists and ...staying guests... People had to eat on ... "Podium-step"..
Surprise...There was nowhere to get regular drinking water! ...bottled water only for payment in Belarusian rubles)... On the second day , a jug of water with lemon was placed in the far corner ... one for 52 guests)))
...I DO NOT recommend it!!!

A good hotel, rented a room "comfort single, 1st category. The central part of the city, near the embankment of the Western Dvina, near the park and the summer amphitheater. Next door is a shopping center with a Euroopt hypermarket, a 5 element store and others.
The interior of the hotel has been renovated, the furniture is new (the smell has not yet disappeared), the bathroom is new, the TV, refrigerator, fan heater (not air conditioning) are new. The room is clean, the bed is fresh, neatly made.
I haven't been to the restaurant.
I liked everything here. There is one caveat - it is both a plus and a minus: the water cooler is located on the floor - you can get cold water or boiling water, but there are no kettles in the room. Therefore, you can drink tea at any time, but for this you will need to go to the cooler.

Friendly staff. The hotel is renovated, the right wing is still being renovated. Everything is new. The sound insulation is bad. You can hear the neighbors and how the water drains from the upper floors. The location is convenient, near the embankment and a beautiful view from the window. It's warm and cozy. I recommend.

Quite a cozy hotel! The 3 stars of the hotel are quite justified in a good way. The rooms are spacious, there is everything you need, but no frills. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the city.
Breakfasts, in my opinion, are a little meager, but it is quite possible to eat. I'm putting a good strong "4"! And it is quite likely that next time, if I am in Vitebsk, I will stay here, as everything is quite fine with me.

Well, what can I say: the location of the hotel is gorgeous!!! The city center. All attractions are within walking distance. Nearby is a large hypermarket "Euroopt". But.... Two stars for: the room was taken as a double standard..... There was no repair in this room since the construction of the 1973 hotel. That's from the word "ABSOLUTELY". The ceiling is whitewashed. Paper wallpaper, doors, parquet... It's like a museum from the Soviet era! The toilet is also in the museum! There are woodlice in the toilet, big black fat spiders in the room that crawl out in the evenings. Summer, heat, 9th floor, sunny side - it is impossible to open the windows, you will collect all the insects of Vitebsk! And, by the way, there is not a single air conditioner on either side of the hotel facade. Perhaps this floor will be renovated in the future!!!???

It has become a good tradition to come to Vitebsk every year and stay at the Vitebsk hotel because of its convenient location in the center, proximity to cultural sites, the train station and, most importantly, the view of the Dvina River! Every year we raise the level of rooms - this year we took improved ones, i.e. after renovation, with new furniture. Not bad - price + quality, but not great! They left a bathtub in the bathroom, colleagues have showers in such rooms, soap + shampoo from the sets, although in many hotels this set has been expanded, supplemented with shower gel, shower cap, in the rooms only a cup from the series "leftovers from the service", a dish, there is no kettle, water too, could and add slippers...a cooler with water without cups was seen in the lobby. But a separate song is the cleaning of the room, completely substandard - after the so-called cleaning, the garbage remained in its place)enjoy breakfast in the hotel cafe, there are three options to choose from. However, next year I will consider other options for living.The hotel is three-star, I put the deserved three stars

It is nice to see the native hotel after the restoration, the former Vitebsk hotel has been transformed both externally (exterior) and inside. It is especially gratifying that your humble servant himself took part in ensuring fire safety throughout the building)
You can stay in the city center, enjoy exploring and getting acquainted with the historical part of Vitebsk within walking distance from many attractions and entertainment of the "northern capital of Belarus", at fairly affordable prices!

After the overhaul, the hotel became chic. Beautiful rooms, lobby, restaurant. There are air conditioners. However, there are now not 3 elevators, but 2, and their speed is low. Towels are changed daily. The Internet is not fast in all rooms - you have to go out to the lobby.

half of the hotel has not been commissioned, as work is still underway in the rooms, a film has been laid on which workers must walk. there was such a case: due to improper fastening, the glass door from the shower cabin fell on me in the bathroom. the glass shattered into small pieces. I didn't get any injuries, just minor cuts. the room was changed immediately, relocated, but when the cleaner came to the "scene", she began to accuse me that I was sloppy with the shower) well)
in the first and second rooms it is clear that cleaning had not been done for a long time: cobwebs in the corners, on the sheet (clean, it must be) long black hair (I have brown hair, square). I do not recommend this hotel yet.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. In the very center of the city. You can walk from the railway station through a beautiful square. Stunning view of the river and the church from the window. On the other side there is a view of the historical center of the city. Clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. There is a large grocery supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
On the 1st floor there is a very atmospheric cafe where you can drink delicious coffee with the most delicate croissants. There is a restaurant, but I didn't have enough time to go there.
The wifi in the room was working, but not very steadily.
There is a bar of soap and shampoo in the bathroom. There is no hair dryer.

We rested here on July 22-23, 2023.The hotel is located in the city center, near many interesting places, temples, museums, alleys, very clean, aesthetically pleasing. I really liked everything in the hotel itself! Clean, cozy, comfortable, snow-white linen, soap, shampoo were included. The girls at the reception, and other staff are polite, friendly, respond instantly to any request, you can order breakfast and lunch here, moreover, with room service, and we were lucky even with a parking space - the car was parked right at the entrance to the hotel. We thank the hotel staff for the warm welcome, the beautiful city of Vitebsk, we will definitely return here again!!!

Hotel bomba. This is the best hotel in Vischebsk. thanks to it, you will be able to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the USSR: parquet, high-tech TV, kind neighbors, as well as a huge refrigerator in the room and beautiful wallpaper with a lamp. in the rooms you can make new friends, you can find them on the floor or in pillows! very friendly administration and service staff, good sound insulation, all this is the hotel Vischebsk. safe elevators, delicious food, well, how can I not put 6 stars here! Especially impressed by the curtain!! The aesthetics of the underwater world and marine life impressed the whole group!!

We stayed at the hotel for just one night, the room is excellent, clean, bright, the location is very convenient, the very center of the city, there is ample Parking, the staff is friendly, they told us in great detail about the room stock and helped with the choice. The hotel is very popular, so it is better to take care of booking a room in advance. Thanks for the comfort!
I completely forgot, wi-fi is excellent, it is provided for free, it catches even in the parking lot.

Well.... such.... it is clear that the repair was done quite recently, but..... there is some kind of trouble with ventilation. And I'm sorry, but someone else's hair is in the bathroom.... It's disgusting. Spots on the mattress shine through the white sheet. The staff at the restaurant is hardly hospitable. Attention!!! SLIPPERS, BATHROBE AND BOTTLED WATER ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THE ROOMS. It's strange for me, but.... Keep in mind. The room was a superior single room. It's cramped. Even the door to the closet does not open, it rests against the bedside table. There is a refrigerator. Only the location is great!!!!! It was it that saved the impression. Maybe I'll stop here next time. I'll just take my slippers :)

We have been coming to Vitya for 15 years now. And we always try to live only in the Vitebsk hotel. There is no more central hotel in the city. There are small ones nearby, but this one is just at the epicenter.
Until recently, everything inside was like in Soviet times, but clean and tidy.
Today, the hotel has been renovated, completely and everywhere renovated. I got great pleasure from the comfort. I was fine. And the view of the Annunciation Cathedral and the Dvina too.
Downstairs in the cafeteria, the coffee is great. Belarusian socks and panties were bought in a nearby department store, which is also necessary for happiness ...
Who likes to go where for, as they say, zeroing, but if you do not take marine options into account, Vitebsk is ideal to seal in it.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from the train station. Large free parking. For reservations from Russia, it is better to call by WhatsApp. Accept the World cards. I rented a single comfort for one night for 65 Belarusian rubles. The bed is one and a half, just perfect for one. The overall situation is OK. Unless it is unclear why there is such a huge armchair in a small room. The bed and linen are excellent. There is a shower corner in the bathroom, the water needs to be drained for a long time, the pressure is weak (perhaps the upper floor affected). But the view is great. I got the sunny side, there is no air conditioning, it is terribly hot in the room during the day. There is an additional heater on the wall instead of an air conditioner, so I suspect that it is cold in the room in winter. There is Internet, you need to get the code at the reception. I didn't eat at the hotel, I saw a restaurant and a bakery on the ground floor.

The hotel is pleasant in general. Popular. A wonderful set breakfast. 3 elevators - no queues for the elevator. Beautiful view from the lobby of the high floors. I didn't like the fact that the room on the 12th floor was surrounded by mobile operators' communication antennas. This is a concern when there are many antennas directly on the wall of the room from the outside of the building. Also of concern is the lack of a railing on the small glazed balcony in the rooms. The line of the window frame is below the waist of an adult. It's scary to open the window. The disadvantage is the lack of an air conditioner, although everything seems to have been done to connect it. It's just unfinished.
