The old Soviet hotel.
The staff and service are unobtrusive. It is necessary to understand. Against the background of the Slavic Bazaar taking place in the city, hotel prices are at an altitude, with the whole year.
On the website, you can get confused about the number of rooms. Take a double bed. It's passable for this money. Clear. Do not expect luxury, but for this money the most reasonable accommodation option in Vitebsk.
I put 5 for 3 honest stars because there was hot water in August. Come and see what it's about. In the super center. The old town is across the street. Parking is large, but it is better to look for a free place in the evening. During the day, those who came to shop or just to the center park.
The photo view across the road to the temple is only worth going to.

We lived from 12/29/23 to 01.01.24.
We booked an apartment, gave the keys to rooms 820 and 920 upon arrival - they are the same, but slightly different furniture, we chose on the 8th floor. Due to the large area of the room, they included additional air conditioning for heating, but it was enough. There are bathrobes, slippers, dishes, a microwave, a glazed balcony (in winter as an additional cooler). 2 full bathrooms - in good condition, everything works. The beds are comfortable. The bed and towels are snow-white. The dining table and sofa are a little loose, but not critical. And all this for 230 bel.rub. for three people a day on New Year's holidays (for two it would be 200).
Because it was necessary to extend the room until the evening, and people moved into the apartment, we were offered to move to room 819 - this wing is UNDER renovation, everything is very old there, but we were warned. In 819, the batteries were warm, the bathroom was old, but without mold and serviceable. There are no bathrobes, the towels are colored, but they are normal. And this is already for 68 bel.rub per day for two.
That is, for 2 people for 6000 rubles a mansion, for 2000 a place to stay. But the view of the Western Desna and the city center is fabulous!!!
The reception staff is wonderful!
The hotel is being renovated, so it can be noisy from 9 to 17.

Great hotel! The rooms are cozy and clean, the furniture is new (at least the comfort room) the view from the window is just a wild delight! The room has a hairdryer, fan, refrigerator, TV, soap and shampoo.
The hot water was no problem. For an additional fee, breakfasts (12 bel rub / serving) are very hearty and delicious (another plus is that breakfasts are from 7 to 11 in the morning). All the sights are within walking distance. The hotel also has a luggage storage, which is very convenient, the price for this service is VERY pleasant.

The hotel is located in the city center. The view from the rooms is amazing (I had the 9th floor and the Windows overlooked the river). As for the rooms themselves, repairs are needed here, remove old / dilapidated furniture and install new ones (let there be minimalism, but the main thing is the atmosphere, cleanliness). It is sad that there was a lot of dust in the room, the TV remote control is dirty, the bathroom drains are dirty, and the taps are not polished and there is even a spray of paste from previous guests (this is not very good), there is no air conditioning (it will be hot in hot weather). It should be praised for the fact that the bed linen and towels are clean, the toilet is snow-white!)) Breakfast had a choice of 3 options (modest, but everything is fresh). Test coffee!
We still need to pay attention to the rooms (update if possible), hotels are also the face of the city, especially since there are many tourists in the city and I would like nothing to upset them and they have visited our beautiful cities more than once!

Nice modern hotel. We stayed for one night. A clean, spacious room with everything you need, except an iron (There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, which is very useful. The Vitebsk Hotel is a real Soviet hotel that has long required at least cosmetic repairs, but the room had everything you needed, even a refrigerator, quite large. Bed linen also remembers the Brezhnev times. But the view from the window is amazing. From our eleventh floor there was a view of the Millennium Square of Vitebsk, the Western Dvina, the twelfth-century temple, where (according to legend) Alexander Nevsky was betrothed to Alexandra of Polotsk. There is also a monument to the Grand dukes. The drama theater is strict and beautiful. One of the advantages is that there is a restaurant here, the food is simple but delicious, the service is very good, thanks to the waiters, friendly and lovely.
In general, the price of the room and its quality correspond to each other. Thanks to the staff, they are trying.

It's a shame to do this in the leading hotel of the cultural capital. The doors to the rooms are in terrible condition. The carpet has stank, apparently, for many years. In the third elevator, adjustment is clearly needed, because at the beginning and end of the movement, it shakes so that it becomes uncomfortable. All this simply requires attention from the operator. It's a pity to give such an assessment to a beautiful city and responsive people.

The hotel is located in the city center.
The sights of Vitebsk are close and the embankment of the Western Dvina River is nearby.
A comfortable bed, snow-white linen, towels. The bathroom has a shower cabin and shampoo and soap in individual packages.
There is a kettle and a refrigerator, a TV, but we did not turn it on.
We had breakfast included. We were not hungry, there was enough of everything.

Near the hotel there is a shopping center where there is a supermarket, a communication salon, a pet store and clothing stores. Our room was a la from films about business trips to the USSR, but everything was clean, the plumbing was in good working order, an excellent large refrigerator with a full-fledged freezer. The maid is very friendly, told us where to swim, and also gave us cutlery at our request. The breakfasts are super, for 10 MINUTES you can choose from three options for hearty and delicious breakfasts. It's a pity they don't give milk for coffee. By the way, the coffee is natural.
The hotel seems to be the only one in Vitebsk inhabited with a dog.
In general, if you don't have any quibbles about the interiors, then you liked everything.

Nice hotel. Quick check-in. We lived in a suite with 2 adults + a child. nice room, comfortable bed, clean bed linen. In the bathroom, disposable soap / shampoo, hair dryer. They didn't take breakfast, they just needed to spend the night. Nice view of the city. Next time we will definitely stay at this hotel. The hotel is in the city center, everything is nearby: Pobediteley Park, cathedral, department store, zoo, many locations for photographing. The bedspread has a stain on it. There is no closet. There is no hair dryer. The towels in the bathroom are hard, renovated from the 80s. The doors in the room were swollen with moisture. Floors, parquet stained with white paint. Everything seems to be clean, but the feeling of an untidy room. The bed linen is clean. The Internet (Wi-Fi) does not catch in the room, it is better in the lobby.

The corridors are like in a Soviet hotel. The service is "unobtrusive": rude, but friendly. They respond quickly, briefly, to the point. The door to the maids' room is slammed shut immediately after the answer, so "thank you" was already said at the door.
The location is convenient - close to all the necessary tourist locations.
To eat - hello USSR! Do not take coffee in the restaurant. You'd better go down to the coffee shop on the ground floor.

But everywhere is as clean as possible, which is pleasant and reconciles with the "ustashe" rooms and plumbing. The price tag is very acceptable (cheap) which pays off the above fact. All rooms have new bed linen, and wonderful mattresses on which it is pleasant to sleep. The location is great, close to banks, shops, pharmacy and Vitebsk Bazaar. There is also a river and a park. The historical center of the city. It is difficult to choose the best place to stay for a few days due to a combination of factors.

The situation is hello USSR. The TV in the room did not catch anything, the old curtain was spit on, the bed was twisted when getting up so that it thought it would fall apart. Until 00 o'clock, a squad of drunken athletes was yelling in the common corridor. Doors are a separate song if you close them audibly on the whole floor. In general, the audibility in the room is in the best traditions of Soviet buildings, you can hear what is happening not only through the wall, but also through the room. Well, it gives you cheerfulness, the howl of the vacuum cleaner at 9 a.m., but you know that they clean up here.

The standard rooms are quite small, the two-room suites are quite acceptable with a balcony and a view of the Cathedral. The restaurant is without frills, the food is on the menu with a small selection. If you have a delicious meal, then go to the city. The Internet periodically fell off.
