An average hotel, Soviet for business travelers, worn furniture. The plus of the hotel is its place in the city center, to all the sights on foot, at the bottom of the hotel there is a wonderful bakery with coffee and croissants.
I really like the hotel : it has a great location in the city center, near the theater, shops, cafes and restaurants, in the hotel itself there is a magnificent bakery where delicious bread is prepared. The breakfasts are not bad. The rooms are cleaned well. The staff is very polite and always ready to help. And a very reasonable price . I recommend it!
We had a rest in August 2023. The two days that we were in the city, the heat was +32 degrees. We got a standard double room on the 12th floor with a view of the river and the Annunciation Church! Positive:
1. Great location! Near the old town. Temples. Restaurants, to sit in the evening. The shops. An open-air concert complex, where the Slavyansky Bazaar takes place.
2, Price-quality. We got quite a whole room)).
Minuses:
1. The most important thing is that in the 21st century there is no air conditioning in the room (there is only in the suite). We were suffocating during the heat! There are no mosquito nets on the windows. When the windows are opened, midges fly into the room. at 12 a.m., we had to ask the maid for a vacuum cleaner to collect everything that came to us...
2. You can buy breakfast, but.... There are only three types of breakfast to choose from. Despite the fact that breakfast starts at 07:30, you can come for breakfast from 09:00, because groups are served before that. At the same time, after the groups, the tables may not be cleaned, the waitresses are running around, and in order to get attention, you have to try. On condition of early departure, as with us at 8 a.m., it is necessary to arrange in the restaurant separately to be fed...
I won't stop here a second time. There are decent hotels in the old town, but it's a bit expensive... But, it's better to overpay))
We just wash and sleep there, and sometimes we eat - we like everything, everything is nearby, just like in the good old days! Of course, I want to be more comfortable, but looking out the window and seeing a picture that pleases the soul, and if the ringing of bells calls to the Temple, then the soul will soar: and we will hurry to Father Igor and hear the singing of the offered prayer, like beads woven into the very heart!!! Live and hello Belaya Rus for long and happy years! Health to the President, Alexander Lukashenko, for preserving and preserving the purity, modesty and memory of the people - our native land, our common good home - the source of light, joy and kindness!!! God-preserved Belarus!!!
A great hotel, in the city center near the sights and the embankment, lived on the sixth floor in an apartment, upset by the lack of at least included breakfast in the accommodation. Within walking distance from the railway station.
The hotel is not expensive and is located in the city center. I would call it important, and perhaps the only advantage... We lived there for one night. We were settled, of course, quickly.
Then there are a number of disadvantages:
1. The hallway, common areas and the room itself smell of old age... Naphthalene, in other words.
2. The toilet door did not close in the room. The lower poro is very damaged, it is impossible to stay in the bathroom in solitude 🙈
3. There are a lot of animals on the walls, ceiling - spiders, haymakers, earwigs.... abomination 🫨
4. The shower does not have time to leave the water when you wash. We have to turn off the water so as not to cause a flood.
5. Because, of course, there are no air conditioners (so it would be fine, I opened the window- and it's good) BUT. At 7 a.m., a garbage truck arrived under the windows and made a lot of noise with containers. (the floor was the 4th)
6. In the evening, the roof flowed in the lobby of the hotel and poured through the holes where the lamps were shining. That is, when you go out and enter the hotel, water from the lamps is pouring on you simply, buckets placed to collect water do not cause a sense of aesthetic pleasure.
7. Towels are old in autumn, they have a lot of stains that can no longer be washed. Although the towels were washed (they smelled fresh, but they looked depressing)
8. In the morning, a key was inserted into the keyhole and they began to open it without knocking first... I woke up in shock. It's good that we left the key in the lock for the night and did not enter the room. It turned out that the TV was not working in the next room, and the master wanted to fix something through ours... But, this brusqueness surprised me. The master was very surprised when my man opened the door to him, saying, "Oh, and I thought there was no one in the room ..."
Bottom line: if you don't have any special expectations, and you don't care about the nuances of the situation and service, the option to spend the night is acceptable.... but I recommend choosing apartments with good reviews. The Vitebsk Hotel will remain in memory as a bad experience.
The hotel is very conveniently located - the train station is literally 10 minutes on foot in a straight line.
The hotel itself is normal - of course, the legacy of the Soviet Union, but the staff, the dining room, the friendliness and the view from the window are certainly captivating. My daughter and I had an economy room for two on the 11th floor. Yes, of course he is an economy from the economy - the bathroom is old, but everything worked, the water is consistently hot / cold always, the bathroom, a minimum set of toiletries, a set of towels. The room is small, with a TV, a refrigerator and a couple of mugs for water.
The elevators are a little hysterical at the moment of landing on the floor - they squeal right very much:)))
The canteen-restaurant is excellent. We really liked the food and the price. Complex breakfasts are generally a fire!! And the coffee is delicious and porridge and cherry and cheesecakes.
But the view from the window of our room is just awesome!! We'll come again.
There are a lot of attractions near the hotel - you can walk everywhere. And a bunch of the most popular shops.
Once I lived in this hotel and went to the Summer Amphitheater to watch the concert program "Slavic Bazaar".
The hotel was crowded, but somehow everything was functioning quite normally.
I liked the hotel and the service.
The hotel is renovated. this is a video right away. Everything is new. But there is no sound insulation in the rooms or it was specially removed. It sounds like everything is in your room. The kitchen is below average.
Nice hotel, conveniently located. There is a good view from the rooms "to the street" (pictured), but in summer it is too hot there, so experts take windows to the courtyard. There are no air conditioners. In general, the interior is very Soviet, the staff in the dining room and at the reception are very friendly. If you don't have high expectations, then the memories will remain good.
An excellent hotel, located in the most beautiful place in Vitebsk, the center. The staff is friendly, they will show and tell you everything. The comfort room is excellent. It's a pity there is no kettle, but there is a cooler with hot water in the hall. Thanks!
We went to Vitebsk for the weekend. The hotel is located in the city center. The rooms are not expensive, everything is available for living. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. There is a place to walk, there is something to see. We went to the Marc Chagall Museum. I recommend it!!!
Very convenient location, friendly and attentive staff. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, but they say that they close for repairs in winter and then everything will be fine.
Breakfast options to choose from. Delicious, but without frills (but after all, at home, as a rule, breakfasts are standard)
In general, everything is super!!!!!
Everything is fine, repairs have been made. Minus-the walls are thin, everything that is being done by the neighbors is perfectly audible.))) So, be careful!
Nice hotel. We stopped at the oportments for one night to rest from the road. It was not possible to evaluate it particularly, but in general the room is clean and large. I liked everything except one thing. WIFI is available, but to connect you need to enter a phone number and receive an SMS with a code. In roaming, this is not a very cheap service, so we sat without Internet. It would be better if there was just a password on the Wi-Fi. Because I understand that the locals have Internet on their phone, but foreigners just need Wi-Fi, that's the problem with it. In general, I liked the hotel, everything is fine. By the way, Belarusians are very friendly.
Everything was fine, we went on a class trip with an overnight stay at this hotel, as I understood it was the city center and the view from there was gorgeous
The choice of hotels is not great, but this one is in the very center, next to the pedestrian street. Everything is clean and homey. Breakfasts are quite normal and are offered even after their conditional termination.
It is located in the very center of Vitebsk. Everything is within walking distance. We walked everywhere, just drove out of town to Repin's estate. Parking in front of the hotel. The registration is fast. We stayed 2 times and both without prior reservation. We took breakfast in the restaurant. There are 3 options to choose from. Fast, tasty, not expensive. The room is clean and tidy. Everything works. I definitely recommend it on the next trip only to Vitebsk!
A nice hotel in the very center of the city!
There are rooms of different types. The taste and color. The comfort room with a large bed costs 2,700 Russian rubles. Everything is clean and modern.
The restaurant with the lowest prices. The food is quite good for itself. If you want to eat on a budget, come here.
There are a lot of establishments for different budgets near the hotel.
We stayed for the second time, we really liked everything. The location is wonderful, the room was booked two days in advance by phone (without prepayment, which is very convenient). Thank you once again Vitebsk, for the weather, impressions, and beauty of your city.
After the reconstruction, the hotel was transformed and sparkled with new colors.EVERYTHING was changed inside.Huge and very hard work in a short time..The city has been transformed.
More room. I was impressed by the three-bed two-room room. Good continental breakfasts. Very convenient location, all the sights are within walking distance. Of the disadvantages, there is no air conditioning.
If you miss the Soviet times, then this is your option.. I haven't been to a lot of places, but it's a good place to be.
The furniture is old and very tired, the chairs are all worn out, the repair is the cheapest. The cleaning is disgusting, the child found some kind of cup under the bed. The curtains, or rather the tulle, are dirty and stained, there is no air conditioner, we were good when it was not very hot, and so I imagine what is going on here in the heat.
The refrigerator is just an entourage of furniture.
The TV shows 3.5 channels
In the end, I can single out the only plus is the location in the city. But in order to walk around the city, it is desirable to have a rest from the road, but this did not work out. Someone was yelling songs under the windows for two nights in a row (there was some kind of club nearby.)
The second time I would definitely not have moved in here
I lived in an updated room. It's clear! I was satisfied with the ratio of price, quality and location. The breakfast is portioned and hearty. The staff is polite. I recommend it!
We were in Vitebsk for 2 days, we liked the hotel. Clean, no foreign odors. We lived in a comfort double room with a new renovation. All the sights are within walking distance. Near the hotel there is a central store with Belarusian goods and clothes. I especially liked the Smolensk market!
The hotel is located in a wonderful location on the banks of the Western Dvina River. It is convenient to take walks to any part of the city, be it the historical center, Pobediteley Park, summer amphitheater, railway station. The hotel is at the intersection of roads. There is a drama theater nearby. After the performance, we quickly got to the room.
The hotel has friendly staff. However, the waitresses in the restaurant are too serious, a smile would not hurt. The breakfasts are delicious, three options to choose from.
The rooms have new furniture. But the decoration, the doors, the tiles, the carpeting of the old days.
I still really liked both the hotel and the city!
A good average high-rise hotel in the city center, many rooms, reasonable price. We have our own coffee, a conference room. The breakfasts were pleased with the variety, satiety and quality. Pleasant service, the staff is responsive. There is a huge, multi-use shopping mall next to the hotel. We stayed with a family with three children of different ages - everyone is happy.
Convenient location, close to public transport stops, pedestrian street for walking. The room is clean. The room has clean bed linen, TV, mini fridge, disposable soap and shampoo in the shower. We came to Vitebsk for the weekend, the Vitebsk hotel is a great place to spend the night and stay.
I liked the hotel, it was very well located, we were passing through, the rooms are clean, there are attractions nearby that you can visit, the river is visible from the window, the view is very beautiful. If we pass by, he will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much for your hospitality!
We stayed on the 8th floor. I liked everything, but the rooms, unfortunately, are quite budget... I would like to repair it! the restaurant has good cuisine. the prices are average. It is possible to choose and pay for breakfast immediately upon arrival. Convenient!
It's pretty cute. The staff is pleasant, they settled on a high floor, overlooking the river and the hotel beyond it. Furniture - Soviet modernism of the 70s, the breath of antiquity. I especially liked the chair
Household items: cup, plate, toilet paper. There is no knife, kettle, etc. There is not much soap and shampoo.
I took breakfast, 9 rubles, three options to choose from. The breakfasts are extensive, but the taste is so-so - and all three.
Of the cons:
* The bathroom is still a little bad
* The kids were settled right in front of me, although the whole wing seemed to be free. Children are children, noisy - and it was as if they were frolicking with me in the same room
And so, especially for this money, it's charming
Location on 10+
The hotel is not tired much. The rooms have dishes, kettle, microwave. But don't think about tea and coffee. There is no ordinary sponge and dish detergent. It's very strange. The rooms are clean for 3.
The bed is very comfortable. Overall, the hotel is good.
A newly renovated Soviet hotel. On February 23rd, we arrived in Vitebsk for 1 day and were only able to find places here. There is a clean renovation on the floor, a new soft path. The room has all the necessary minimum, a couple of towels, perfectly clean linen and a comfortable mattress. In general, we rested and saw the center from the window. Take a higher room with a view of the square. Just like us.
You can safely stop.
Minus one star for the touch of a scoop feeling that cannot be hidden by repair.
Perhaps this impression was reinforced after the Moscow Vitebsk marathon and almost continuous taxiing.
A good hotel for your money. There are no questions or complaints. The restaurant is open without problems. Near the hotel there are shops, a fitness room, a beautiful amusement park. The station is 7 minutes away by taxi, the trolleybus runs and minibuses drive to any point of the city. I did not regret that I visited the city of Vitebsk and stayed at the Vitebsk hotel.
